Vacation rentals with beach access in Golfito

The location is great, few doors down to a supermarket and few restaurants. The property is beachfront and private. It’s more worth than what I paid for. Ana is a really nice person and eager to help. I’ll be back!

Great value, had everything we needed.

WOW!! What an amazing place, family run business who also have an amazing cafe across the road. Great location, immersed in wildlife resident crocs, macaws and monkeys 😁 couldn’t rate this stay high enough. Tamar and Alberto make you feel right at home and have all the amenities in the house you could want. Great kitchen and utensils (they own a restaurant so no surprise there) got everything you can need. And most importantly a very comfy bed with air-con Tv etc. They also run guided tours in the mangroves and adventure activities which is great. The beach is literally on your doorstep!! Perfect for a quiet stay with access to shops, bars and of course their cafe is a must….this is the stay for you. We hope to be back soon. The welcome from the owners, Jenn and Chad, was very friendly and inviting. The house is truly in a class of its own: the living room, integrated kitchen, shower, and toilet are located on the first floor, from which you have a beautiful view of the surrounding nature through two large windows. From there, a ladder leads to the second floor, which consists of a loft bed covered with a mosquito net. In the garden in front of the house, there is a spot for breakfast, and if you want to enjoy the sunrise in a hammock or have your breakfast at a table on the beach, it's a 75-meter walk to get there. The highlight: Jenn arranged contact with a friend who runs a sea turtle project. This allowed me to spend an afternoon there and watch the young turtles make their way to the sea. All in all: perfect! Thank you, Jenn and Chad!

What a great place! The property was beautiful. It is also one of the nicest and most comfortable Airbnbs in Cabo Matapalo because the entire interior of the home is open air, but contained within nets (meaning the nets are over the windows). Most places are open-air, with the nets over only the beds. Having the windows netted instead of the beds makes a big difference in comfort at night. Fans are more noticeable at night when there is no netting between you and the fan. The property’s proximity to a beach was also fantastic. Jacko, the caretaker, is also wonderful. He is extremely nice, and having him onsite was like having a personal concierge and travel guide. He was so helpful in arranging a tour of Corcovado and in making other suggestions and arrangements. Thank you Kristen and Jacko!

Best neighborhood in Pavones . Million dollar homes on both sides . Very nice local Tico nieghbors . Did not need it , but house has security alarm, nest cam system, gate that can be closed, dual internet services , and a back up power option. Rainy season in pavones is notorious for daily power outages , and that means no internet ussually . Anyway we opted to pay for the back up power and while the entire town was dark with no internet or lights , it was business as usual for us . Light , internet and an epic downpour . Hosts were very helpful . Great time.

The house is very beautiful and the location is perfect, the beach is very close with private access, we always have the assistance of the gardener, Felix, excellent person, very friendly. The internet access and the amount of solar power the house has is amazing. There's a lot of flora and fauna around and well cared for. A unique experience. the house is very well equipped, and the kitchen has the necessary implements for what you want to cook.

The location is everything at casa azul and casa aloha! It’s quiet and very private and just a quick walk to the point at Pavones. We saw all kinds of magical wildlife in the garden and the kids enjoyed to pool during the hot part of the day! Kelly’s house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. If you’re going to visit Pavones, it doesn’t get any better than casa azul and casa aloha!

Awesome place. Trip highlights included monkey watching from the plunge pool, yoga on the covered wood deck, lush vegetation in every direction, happy hour/dinners in the indoor outdoor bar/kitchen. Great home base for a week long trip or longer :) Pro tip, leave everything in the pantry/fridge overnight as monkeys may pay a midnight visit ;) Michelle was a great host, friendly and responsive.

One of the BEST airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in Costa Rica. Beautiful home in a fantastic location. You are surrounded by an abundance of nature, wake up to birds singing in a peaceful neighborhood. The place is spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained, easily making you feel right at home. Great for families, adventure and relaxing. The hosts Dina and Lea are friendly, responsive and communicated quickly. They provided great recommendations and had a useful welcome book that listed delicious restaurants and activities nearby. Highly recommend this property and will be back again soon! Pura vida :)

Our stay was excellent. Me and my kids feel comfortable and comfortable. The departure to the beach is very close . Quiet and friendly neighborhood. She definitely advised the house ! Very acceptable price and comfort.
