We enjoyed the peacefulness of the country and the welcome from our host. We slept extremely well in the comfortable bed. Takaka is a short 5 minute drive away and has good facilities. We highly recommend this as a place from which to explore Golden Bay and Cape Farewell.

Ingrid and her husband were wonderful hosts, great communication and checked in with us throughout our stay/were on hand if any questions. Adrian and Dawn are great hosts, communication from day 1 was outstanding and when we got there the information about the the area was amazing...exactly what you needed to know things to do and places to eat. The house was, clean, tidy and had those little extras that you need like condiments, bathroom wash etc and even washing powder. House is exactly what is described and what made even better were the beds they are comfy! Thanks for great stay.

We loved our stay of 3 nights here, we were wanting somewhere a little out of town with peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. However only took us 12 mins drive to get into Motueka. Beautiful setting with lots of trees around but still nice and sunny. The house was immaculate inside and hosts had thought of and provided everything you could need. Especially loved that they allowed us to take our 2 dogs with us. Thanks so much! Can not fault a single thing, and would love to return next time we are back in Tasman area.

Thank you so much for having us here. We can feel clearly that Tom created this little piece of paradise with great love and care. With Claudia’s help, we had a great three-day stay right after Christmas. It is truly an organic cabin for enjoying time away from the busy world. The essence of mountain living, with its stunning view and beautiful surrounding. We really appreciate the outdoor dining under the sun with summer wind and bird singing.

We will definitely be back. We loved staying at Jill's place. Clean, tidy, pictures match reality and has everything you need. We stayed for three nights with 4 adults a three year old and a baby. The two master bedrooms and two bathrooms mean there is space for all. The sleep out is a nice added bonus. The outside areas (there are three to choose from!) encourage outside dining and socialising. Multiple places for wine and cheese in the afternoons. We also loved that there is plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and the kitchen was fully functional and user friendly. The BBQ worked well and the swing ball outside was much loved by our three year old. Within walking distance you can reach the water front, tennis courts, local bars and the camp ground that has a new playground. Jill is a super responsive proactive host. We are already looking forward to visiting again.

Went down with my family for a wedding and would stay again in a heart beat!! The morning views with your coffee in hand were a highlight!

Queens Landing provided very comfortable short stay accommodation. To give my wife a break we enjoyed two evening barbecues on the back patio which was both pleasant and easy to do. Provisions were obtained from the Fresh Choice supermarket 5 minutes away on Collingwood St. Broccoli Row became a favourite haunt. Their almond and berry torte with cream and a flat white was very special. During the 4 night stay we walked to the top of Centre of NZ; to the trig point on the Grampians; and the Maitai River walk. It was a relaxed holiday.

This was a great peaceful place to stay. It allowed us to spread out and enjoy the rural surrounds. The property exceeded our expectations and Alistair was very responsive. To our questions. Peace, quiet and gorgeous surroundings sums up our stay. The swimming pool was perfect after a hot day and we could walk to a small cafe through the vineyards for early coffee. Also in walking distance shops providing all our needs and fresh fruit and vegetables locally grown with a really good cafe for lunches. Lars and Sam were perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home.

This was our second stay at Bex & Nicks place. Again it was great for us being a large group with kids. Heaps of toys, bikes and space to keep the kids occupied. While also being a great place for an the adults. Its a beautiful place, that feels very quiet and peaceful tucked away on the hillside, but it's still very close to the city centre.
