Beachfront vacation rentals in Gilgo Beach

This spot is incredible!! Rented it for me, my partner and a few of our friends for my birthday and it was truly a spectacular landing spot!! Robert is very communicative and available about any needs and the view cannot be beat. Will note that while they are pet friendly, they don’t like animals on the furniture and also it is a glitter free space, if you are a sparkly gay like myself, it may not be the space for you!

Rob was very responsive to all emails and texts and all the instructions for checking in/checking out were very clear. House was exactly as advertised. Easy to get to beach and town. We had a really nice stay.

This charming house on the bay was such a pleasure. The sandy yard area with the grill, picnic area, and chairs was enjoyable! Plenty of beds & bedrooms, with lots of available pillows, and comfy too! The kitchen is small but equipped with all that we needed from a large pot for boiling corn on the cob, to a pitcher for lemonade. The house was clean and organized and offered the comforts of home.

Great, responsive and accommodating host. Very nice, homey place to stay in fire island and enjoy the beach. The house is also very close to the dock for the ferry and water taxi.

We had a great time at Susan's place, and would highly recommend it. There were 3 of us adult ladies and it was so nice to each have our own room! Very comfortable, and we found the house thoughtfully laid out and decorated nicely. It really feels like you're home. Susan has the place stocked very well too. Great instructions for things around the house which made settling in very quick and easy. Location wise you couldn't be better off. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops, a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk. We would absolutely stay again at this lovely Airbnb!

We were a family of 5 from California visiting family on LI for Thanksgiving. My 90 yo mom was with us. While we had Thanksgiving itself at my brothers 20 mins away we had cousins come in from Brooklyn and Bayshore and siblings from Wading River, Setauket and Northport. Friends from NYC and south Hampton all to meet up. The view from this house was the LI sound from every window. Even though it was cold outside the house was warm, the downstairs pool table/air hockey was fun and the TV, while no cable, was used via streaming/computer hookup for movies and karyoke. Had some nice walks around the neighborhood and on the beach (though at high tide there is no beach), the kitchen was well equipped. Shay was super responsive to any questions-and called us when he found my Moms iPhone —thankfully before we left for back home to California! A great find!

One of the nicest Airbnb experiences I’ve had. I love Centerport and Northport and have been to lots of other places in the area. William’s house is charming, cozy, and offers beautiful views of the harbor. It’s also in a quiet, walkable neighborhood and about two minutes from the beach. William is a great host. Super responsive. Super flexible. Super cool. I go away when I need to recharge and refresh. And that’s exactly what I was able to do. Loved the place. Had a great time. Hope to come back soon. I’d recommend William’s place to anyone.

Very very good Airbnb experience. The house is cosy, organized and well loved and the gardens/pool are serenely beautiful. It’s the perfect spot. I’d recommend highly.

Geoffrey and Thomas were very gracious hosts, filled with benevolence, they greeted us with such warmth, gave us a tour of their beautiful home, along with the complimentary beverages, providing us with resources as well as information about the island since we’re newcomers, the house was lovely, clean and serene, hot tub was amazing, we enjoyed hearing their stories about fire island as well as giving us recommendations for food, shopping and sightseeing, it’s good to know fellow New Yorkers will have your back, very happy we picked their place to stay, absolutely would come back.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! It’s RIGHT on the water and the pool is literally right alongside the ocean - the house itself was beautifully decorated, clean and had a great sunroom where we spent most of our time. It has lots of bedrooms and a big kitchen and a big table in the living room. Huge backyard and great pool. Peaceful neighborhood. Elizabeth was a great host and always responsive. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice - this is probably the most peaceful and beautiful Airbnb I have stayed in. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect spot in a magical place. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The views from the house are stunning. The deck is incredible and I loved listening to ocean waves all day and night. My friends and I had a great time. Will definitely be back! Thanks again.

the house was extremely comfortable...quiet yet close to town and a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. it's a little small, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but well-appointed. the pool is gorgeous. shawn was extremely responsive to any questions we had .

Jonathan’s home is ideal! It’s set back off the road, you get to drive down a winding driveway, home is immaculate, the kitchen is well-equipped and modern. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had extra necessities, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer etc. the hot water was plentiful too! We used the iron and ironing board as well as the washer and dryer. The Wi-Fi was great, and the house has “smart features”. We were able to use the house tablet and connect to any music. The speakers throughout the house and outside was one of my favorite perks. The backyard is fenced in, peaceful and inviting. There is a little pond and we enjoyed the fire pit. Jonathan has a welcome book with instructions and suggestions. Kerri was great to meet and go over the house and answer any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the deer and turkey walking the front yard! We felt like we were so far from other houses, we walked about 1 1/2 blocks to the water. Shops and restaurants are close. Loved it

This place has everything you need and more! From board games to beach passes to coffee and tea. Every room and dish was spotless, and the location is 10/10. Highly recommended.

We were 3 women friends coming from different parts of the country, and this was an ideal location to relax, enjoy local restaurants, soak up the sun and walk to the beach. Ronen was super responsive when we had a question or two. This home could hold several more people than our small group. Loved, loved the deck and retractable awning. I will recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

Beautiful place! I spent a week at Robert's place with my wife, setting up my office and laptops there. I got to watch the bay and swans floating down it while working. I got DoorDash, Amazon, and Total Wine deliveries while I stayed there and all were seamless. The location is easily found. TV was great in the den area. We watched a couple of movies on Prime. Perfect location, outside the craziness of mainland Long Island. I loved it! Would love to stay again.

The best thing about this location is Erica, the host herself! She’s super communicative and friendly, and helpful with anything you need. The space is small but very cozy and modern at the same time. There are slippers, robes, and eye masks available, the floor is heated, and overall it just felt even better than a lux hotel suite. The restaurants nearby are amazing too, I recommend the Penne a la Vodka from Frank’s - it’s unassuming but so delicious. I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone who wants a weekend getaway away from the city in any season!

We enjoy every moment in Prince airbnb. My stay was business like, but my next visit will be vacation. The place was very cold but the apartment was warm and nice. The neighbors too was safe for my vehicle and walking around.

Laura ‘s place is beautiful! Accommodating and super clean. Close to sores, restaurants and the marina going to Fire Island only few blocks away. the sun rise and the sun set are amazing and worth seeing. Laura is a super host. Always ready to help!
