Vacation rentals with lake access in Gilford

Jennifer's Home is wonderful. This is the second time we stayed there. The place was immaculate, the kitchen is excellent with everything you would need. Loved some of the suttle touches made to the place since last time. Jennifer has a special place and we will be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. This location is absolutely perfect for anybody that wants to be close to the water and to the town. There was so much to do and so many great restaurants close by. We loved being able to go for walks during the day and at night time the game room was perfect. We had kids ranging from ages 1 to 13. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back in the future.

The lakehouse was a lovely place for our family to come together and play games in the game room, do puzzles, enjoy crafts , make meals, and spend some quality time together! Let’s not forget the incredible hot tub and view while relaxing! Three generations enjoying time together and making lots of lasting memories! It was a perfect place to do that!

We felt like we really hit the jackpot coming into Alton Bay while the ice airplane sea base was open! What a treat watching the planes. The house was cozy, spacious, and very clean. The kids loved the jacuzzi tub and the bunk beds, and I couldn’t get over the views. We were there during some rough weather so we bunkered down and host was very flexible and communicative to our needs. We had everything we needed to cook at home. We’d love to come back again when we can do more exploring and enjoy the lake! We got in a great trip to the ice castles before the snow, worth the drive!

We are two very busy friends that have made a point to get away for a weekend every year and this place was perfect. It was very clean, had everything we could have hoped for in the kitchen and the roads were plowed and easy to drive on when we left. It was a stress free relaxing weekend that we very much enjoyed. Maxwell is an amazing host and the listing didn’t do the place justice. It was absolutely beautiful to be there in the wintertime. It will be a trip we remember forever.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location. Heidi's was exactly what we expected and good value. The views in pretty much every direction from her home are just stunning this fall and we loved stepping outside each morning by quiet Opechee Lake. Our Labrador had a great time too with lots of space to run around.

Sandra's place is simply amazing. The setting right on the lake cannot be beat. The host provided so many thoughtful little extras that are not typical from an array of spices to bug spray and sun screen. We plan to come back and stay here again in the future.

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

My family and I recently stayed at Chris and Jen’s place for a wedding in Meredith. We were able to walk to the venue and explore the town on Meredith on foot. We also did an amazing hike up Mount Major which was only about a 30 min drive. Thanks for sharing your place! Would love to come again!

A perfect little space in a perfect location. We had all of the amenities that we needed and a beautiful view. We can’t wait to go back!

It was a peaceful, quant, and the views overlooking the lake were stunning not to mention being only a few minutes away from Pat's Peak along with being able to have a fire making this a desirable location year round. My family and I would certainly be back to visit

Kelley and Jim were great and very accommodating for my 92 year old father. They cleared the snow and made sure he had a safe walkway. The basket with the bread, jam, wine, and fresh baked pumpkin bread was a great touch!

Heatha and Paul’s place was beautiful! Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being so close to the lake and the peaceful surroundings. We loved it!

Our stay at Bob and Christy's cottage on the lake was awesome and we appreciated their hospitality. From the moment we walked in we immediately felt like we were home. The details they put into making your stay easy-free and memorable are endless ! The kitchen being loaded with every necessity and amenity needed from a selection of teas and coffees in one kitchen cabinet to a variety of board games in another. We had a great time during our wintery weekend and enjoyed the wood stove and beautiful view of Crystal lake!! We look forward to experiencing it all during the summer !! We left feeling like living on the lake is so much better!, as the Cottages' decor rubbed off on us!!! Defintely recommended for a relaxing getaway !!

Another wonderfully relaxing stay! We really enjoyed the new screened in porch for morning coffee, late afternoon snacks, and evening games. The rainy days were just as lovely as the beautiful ones. We enjoyed the cozy gas stove on the cooler days, and we just couldn't have been more delighted by the welcome note and gift upon our arrival.

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway at this place. Denise was a great host who were helpful and always quick to respond. The house is cozy and clean, perfect size for two adults. It is conveniently located while being private. We kayaked on Paugus Bay and hiked Mt Major. Would definitely come back again.

What a great stay! My friends and I needed a peaceful weekend getaway, and we definitely got it! Beautiful area around the lakes close to some great trails and towns with great restaurants. The space itself was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this stay!
