Absolutely exquisite stay at this magic cottage. Being right above the rushing river facing on to the vibrantly alive jungle was spectacular. The cabin itself was beautiful and the bath of cause a crowning jewel. Adi & the whole team were so supportive, kind and accomodating for my trip. I highly recommend staying in this lush paradise.

Villa Gita is the kind of place where you go to really get away and relax. It’s great for a group of people who want to be away from the hustle and bustle and really live in a real Balinese village. You’ll see perfectly dark skies at night from the pool and be spoiled be the beauty of nature around the property. The staff at the house was so nice and helpful. Ayu will organize great food and will organize picking up any grocery and special items for you as you’re around a 10 minute scooter ride from the nearest mini mart. Theres a local guy named Wayan who drove our party around the island and was completely sweet and informative about sites to see and local knowledge. He even took me to a special Barong cleansing ceremony in the mountains that was maybe the highlight of my weeks spent in Bali this round. His rates are very reasonable and such a better way to drive around than trying to rent a car. It’s an amazing place to kick off epic motorcycle journeys on epic country roads

We love our stay, the kids enjoyed the place and we enjoyed the meals deza and her team prepared every single day. We even requested deza a recipe of one of her dish and she gifted us with the ingredients before we left. They always made sure the place is clean and always are respectful of our privacy. Very respectful and kind.

Putu and his team were absolutely amazing! Not only was the place beautiful, but Putu was so helpful when it came to food, transportation, and activities to do. The food was absolutely amazing, our rooms were cleaned everyday, and we never had an issue with transportation. Lastly, coming from North America, it was very refreshing to see that we could also pay with card and not just rupiah. I highly recommend staying in Ubud at this Villa

We had the most delightful stay at River Moon. The villa is beautifully designed and laid out and situated on the edge of rice fields in a tranquil village. We spent ten blissful days relaxing at the Villa, only leaving to eat and get provisions. Being located just outside of Ubud, it is close enough to access the centre easily by scooter or taxi but is peacefully removed from Ubud’s bustle. The staff are really wonderful - Kadek and her daughters took great care of us and made us a beautiful breakfast each morning. We will absolutely return on our next trip to Ubud.

Our stay was great! The host was very friendly and helpful—even watching over our backpack while we went on a road trip. The accommodation was clean, and we loved the view from the cabin. The pool was also a great addition! 😍

Down a paved track, the furthest villa from the main road, in the depths of the rice field you will find the tranquil setting. We were there to unwind and really recharge our batteries. The aim was fulfilled. Close enough to Ubud to do the things you wish to do. We ate in and out of the villa. Breakfast was included which was eggs, fruit, juice and toast. The Villa kept tidy and clean every day. We also had a lady come in and cook us 3 evening meals during our stay. All authentic Balinese style which was flavoursome. Villa was perfect for 2 or 4 people. Plenty of seating areas. If you do not like bugs or lizards not the place for you as you are so close to the rice fields and forest. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed ourselves in the beautiful setting.

We had a wonderful stay at this place!! This was our first stop here in Bali and Made, our driver, picked us up. He even had to wait 1.5 hours for us because everything was a little delayed, but he was super super friendly and helpful and took us to a supermarket and a moneychanger on the way home. The place was super clean and much nicer than it seems in the pictures. Super quiet and a big extra is the private pool. Every morning there was freshly prepared breakfast by Yanti or Made, which was an absolute culinary delight. They also organized a scooter for us and brought it to the accommodation, so super easy for us. I highly recommend the place, we would come back any time. Small insider tip: Rona Warung is only a few meters behind the accommodation and had the best food I have ever eaten in Bali for us.
