Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Gianyar Regency

Everything was solid. You pay a premium in Nyuh Kuning so don’t expect luxury - the rooms and bathrooms are a little dated and dark. But everything was reasonably well looked after. The grounds felt very peaceful and secure. The rooms were super spacious, the beds were comfy, and the air con worked great.

Made was very welcoming from the start and communicative. He responds quickly to questions and offers transport/tour services which was helpful. The place is very clean and the pool was delightful. The aircon in the room was great to beat the humidity. Daily cleaning service were offered and extra towels. The location is close to Ubud centre via car and there are walkable eateries nearby. We would highly recommend.

Host + location + Accommodations… gotta say it’s really worth all the great reviews! I was sad to leave. It’s worth a longer stay. You may find cheaper but you will not find better! An occupant of another Villa rudely “borrowed” my scooter helmet off my bike but the host was quick to track them down and have it returned with ZERO drama. I love how they were so proactive. Cleaning is wonderful! Very proactive & efficient. Only issue would be cleaning on days that are not listed as cleaning days. If I know my room is being entered to clean, I would put away personal & work materials. I asked them not to do that and they were fine with that. *Gecko Alert - I am not one for lizards so at first it was a bit much seeing so many tiny geckos outside but none made it in. They do a great job keeping place clean and clear. I alerted them to a small space in window where gecko kept running in & out… they were quick to take care of sealing it. I would recommend & I will be back!

We had the most incredible stay at this luxurious villa in Ubud, in Bali. The location was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The villa itself was beautifully designed with every detail considered, offering the ultimate comfort and style. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, Agus’s and co-host Ayu as much as their team!! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering helpful tips and making sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and dedication truly set this experience apart. Such a charming haven in the middle of downtown Ubud. The photo's acurately capture the unique architecture and fabulous design elements of this precious apartment. Loved this accommodation so much. The garden and space is beautifully designed to give a sense of privacy, the kitchen was huge and perfect, AC worked wonderfully, water was hot, and I enjoyed all of the small design touches. Even the books that were left behind on the coffee table were high quality! I had a couple of questions/requests that the staff was responsive to. Suksma sekali 🙏🙏🙏

Nyomans villa was so perfect. It’s very quiet and so beautiful. Breakfast included was delightful and so was the staff. Indra drove us to town when we needed something. Just ten minutes away. He spoke great English and had a good sense of humor. In all my travels this villa was the best. I’ll tell all my friends. Thanks again.

This was a superb experience living for a month within a Balinese family compound. It was a great location for walking to Ubud and had a selection of restaurant/cafes closeby. A variety of Beautiful spas were also close for treatments. The accomodation had a swimming pool which we used daily and a family shop which was very convenient. All of the Balinese family members were so lovely and welcoming that we cant wait to return for another holiday.

I had an amazing time at Putu's place, he is very hospitable and friendly and taught me and my friend some Indonesian, it was a great immersion in Balinese culture. The space is spacious and clean, the location was very convenient, close to the center, and away from the noise of the city. You can rent bikes with the host at a good price and he can take care of its service if needed.

This was a very comfortable and welcoming space with boats available to answer any questions and help arrange things like transportation and laundry. It was so kind and helpful of them to set up a car pickup from the airport, and they kept the space beautiful and clean with every other day cleaning. This level of service went above and beyond and made our stay so much more enjoyable. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and impeccable hospitality from our hosts. Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay, beautiful grounds and very comfy beds. My son had fun playing with his ball lots of interior/exterior space. The swimming pool was gorgeous and private. Location was great for Bali Zoo, Bali Bird and Reptile park and Butterfly park. Only difficulty was self catering due to lack of local restaurants and not a lot of selection from the supermarket. We had an amazing visit to their family art gallery. We loved it and definitely would be back, thank you!

A private, quiet, comfortable place with lovely hosts (Kadek and Ketut). We loved the location -- close enough to walk to everything you need (about 20 minutes to downtown Ubud) yet far enough away to be peaceful. We rented a motorbike and toured much of the island. Only used the kitchen for breakfast because there were so many affordable places to eat close by. The pool was a bonus in the heat and humidity. It is the tropics so expect some insects -- mostly ants and mosquitos -- outside. Still, we enjoyed the birds, dragonflies, butterflies and the occasional fruit bat in the surrounding banana and papaya trees. There were fresh offerings around the yard and even on the motorbike most mornings. Thank you Kadek! A wonderful Bali experience.

The house is wonderfully build, great vintage details and with all modern necessity's. The spacious building style is really calming and is set up according to balinese hindoe tradition. Wayan P is a very friendly host and local artist, often busy with ceremony's and the local community but alway at our service! He is very knowledgeable about the area and Bali itself, he designed the house himself and can tell you all about its environmental friendly build, the reused the wood and colonial artefacts. I feel like this sustainable way of building really fits the lifestyle for respectful tourists in Ubud and I feel honoured to have stayed here.

My expectations were exceeded with this booking considering the cheap price. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they even gifted to me and to other guests platters of fruit and snacks from their ceremonies! This place is great for long stays, I can highly recommend.

Amazing stay!! Location is exactly as found on maps so we were dropped off right at the gate so easy! Helped that there were pictures of the entrance on the listing. We’re able to drop our bags and come back later! The room was so clean we felt right at home. It looks exactly like the pictures which we appreciate. Hot,normal and cold water machine was a life saver! Clean dishes to use and plenty kitchen and bath towels! Beautiful pool and outdoor chairs. Budi was so pleasant and serviced our room amazingly and made our trip so seamless. Definitely worth the money! Convenient location, several supermarkets just a walk away! Heaps to see and eat at in the area. Spacious bathroom and super comfortable bed with strong aircon. AMAZING!!

Loved my stay at tropical hideaway apartment. The host has thought of absolutely everything, to not only feel like a home away from home so you have everything you’ll ever need to feel comfortable and at ease, but to also makes you feel like you are truly on holiday, being only a 3 min walk from the beach & clubs, adorning cool beachy vibes, comfortable & spacious with a touch of indulgence thanks to the large concrete tub. Heaven! Last but not least, loved working from the desk that overlooked the horse stables, to which you could hear the pleasant sounds horses make. Definitely will be back again. Thanks so much!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in the heart of ubud! The family are so lovely and made me feel at home away from home. Extended my stay here twice and was sad to be leaving! Very peaceful but close to everything, including yoga barn. Thank you and hopefully will be back one day! :)
