Lovely accommodation and great spot not too far from everything. The villa caretakers were very friendly and polite as well as the security overnight.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and luxurious, perfectly located—close to Ubud and Tegalalang, yet far enough to feel immersed in nature. The surroundings were stunning, offering a true nature experience. There’s also a small shop conveniently nearby. Highly recommended! Doni and the crew were amazing hosts! Special thanks to Mrs Astri who took care of us from the moment we came!

Great location, great place, great host. Quiet and private in the backstreets of Penestanan with good cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Place was spacious and well equipped (kitchen, bathroom). Wayan was very friendly, responsive and flexible

We had a great stay here! Wayan was super friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy for us. Breakfast was included and delicious, and the description of the place was spot on. The private pool was a highlight—such a peaceful oasis in the middle of a busy city. Wayan did an amazing job cleaning every morning and could arrange virtually anything we needed, which was so convenient. That said, it’s worth noting that it was a bit noisy at times due to nearby roosters, and we did find some geckos inside that left droppings. Thankfully, there’s a bed cover provided, and this seems to be pretty common in Ubud. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Ketut and his family were incredible hosts. They picked us up from the airport, helped us with our luggage upon check-in and check-out and brought us delicious Indonesian breakfast each morning. We felt so welcome and everyone was so friendly. We stayed in a villa-type area where we had our own private space that faced the tropical backyard and had the hosts close by if we needed anything. Excellent communication from Ketut, brought us everything we needed and more! And of course it included one of the classic outdoor bali showers. Such a beautiful view from our room and about 15/20 minutes out from the city center. Absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Ubud! Thank you Ketut for sharing your beautiful home with us!

# 5/5 Exceptional Stay! We had an incredibly tranquil and relaxing stay at this stunning villa! The rainforest views and soothing sounds were breathtaking. While traveling with toddlers required extra vigilance due to potential hazards, the villa's beauty and amenities made it well worth the effort. Dewa's exceptional service, local insights, and kindness made our stay unforgettable. Complimentary breakfast, daily villa cleaning, and luxurious facilities (sauna, ice bath, spa, and pool) exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located, with amazing restaurants within walking distance and Alfamart nearby. A special thank you to Dewa for going above and beyond, ensuring we recovered our left belongings. We'll definitely return!

Great stay with lovely cleaners

What a treasure in the heart of Ubud! It’s near the shopping district and many wonderful restaurants. The house is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and the bathroom. The air on worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect for a late afternoon dip to cool off or an early morning meditation. The house is equipped with filtered water on demand. It was a pity that we only stayed one night. Next year it will be more.

LOVED my stay here! the room is cozy & had everything i needed + more. so nice to have a mini kitchen. the location is perfect - next door to alchemy (3 min walk) & also tucked away from the main road so you don't get all that noise. my favorite part was being surrounded by the garden / gorgeous plants & trees. loved hearing the birds in the morning & the frogs at night 😍😍 the staff was super helpful if i had a question or needed something. i sprained my toe while exploring ubud & they recommended a nearby doctor which was super helpful 🙏🏾 i wish i'd found this spot at the start of my 2 months in bali bc i'd definitely stay longer. will be back when i return to bali in a few months!! thank you! ♥️🌿

This was my favorite stay so far! Made and Konek are super friendly, very responsive, and helpful. The place exceeded my expectations. It’s in the best location—just a 10-minute walk (or 2 minutes by scooter) to Ubud’s main road—but at the house, it feels like you’re in another world, surrounded by rice fields and serenity. Beautiful views, a spacious house, regular cleaning every 3-4 days, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. I didn't want to leave! Thanks so much!

What an amazing place. From when I booked the airbnb, Citra was so fast in responding, very friendly and accommodating. Everything that the airbnb described was exactly what you get, even the photos were spot on. You won't be disappointed. The first thing we did as soon as we checked in was the swing - amazing photos and videos and plus you get 25 percent off!! Much affordable than the other "swing" places. We also had the floating breakfast and basically had the entire swimming pool overlooking the beautiful lush greenery scene to ourselves. It was beautiful. Conveniently located to Cretya Ubud, rice fields, and many more. Definitely recommend. And the final touch - Citra gave us souvenir mug with our personalised photo on it!!

We loved staying in Hari’s place - fantastic location, good food near by and such a beautiful villa, full of treasures! Kitchen has everything you need and it’s a wonderful place to bring food back and relax around the large timber table. Lovely, comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Only negative was the bathrooms could be improved - they’re beautiful but don’t function very well. We spent loads of time in the pool, marveling at the lush garden and watching the tortoise. We also had regular visits from Quincy the dog, who was just adorable. We loved our stay at Villa Humbhara!

Arjuna is a great host friendly kind and helpful. The accommodation was good and the pool area is really nice. And Arjuna makes really good nasi goreng. Will be staying again at some point I had a great time highly recommended.

harta’s and family is a nice person, and the villa condition is good and clean. but the location is hard to reach, and paid parking area

This was our 2nd time at Made’s house. We love this area and home. Sayu is super sweet and super responsive. We enjoyed our stay ( for families with toddlers … u can put ur toddler to bed and take the monitor to have a drink lol .. restaurants are that close but the lane is very quiet )

We had a lovely stay with here, we were very well looked after by Ketut , she made us a beautiful breakfast each morning, kept the villa very clean and she was very helpful getting drivers and making us comfortable. The villa gardens were lovely and lush, overlooking rice fields but yet private. The pool was very clean and inviting. All rooms air conditioned and cool. Extra touches like , insect repellent, books, fans, hairdryers and a well appointed kitchen was very much appreciated. Street outside not easy to walk on, however taxis all dropped us to the door, pick up was also easy to find us. We would definitely return here.

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The villa itself was well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and private, providing a great escape from the city. What really made our stay special was the host Stephane. He is very hands-on and approachable, always quick to respond and offer helpful tips. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great hospitality.

The villa was beautiful with a gorgeous garden and pool which got plenty of use even in the rain ( we were there in rainy season). We could walk easily to the beach where there are many options to eat and the kids had a great surf lesson there with friendly locals. Thank you for having us!

We stayed for 4,5 weeks at Margit’s guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest. We have a 3 year old toddler and a 10 month old baby who is crawling and exploring, so for us the safety for our children was important. We were grateful for the babygate that Margit had installed especially for us. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean; It has everything that we needed. You can open everything up and let the breeze go through the house, or keep everything closed and stay in the airco to cool down. The garden is beautiful with an amazing pool. The WiFi connection is good and fast in case you need to work from home. Dapur Deli in the beginning of the alley has good western food. And if you’re traveling with children we can also recommend de Kidz Café down the street. The household staff are lovely and were very sweet with our children. The communication with Margit was very good, she responds very quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are well-kept and always clean (they have a cleaning staff who come 6x a week). Really love the pool and the outdoor area. The housekeeper, Bli Nengah, was very helpful and very attentive. Overall, we love it!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Nyoman’s property, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, Nyoman was incredibly helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed and providing fantastic local recommendations. The property itself was beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly situated. Whether you're looking to explore or just relax, the location couldn't be better—close to all the key attractions and Canggu beach, about 15-20 mins from Finn’s and atlas.. but still peaceful and quiet at night. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

This was such an incredible get away in a great location! The pool is beautiful and I miss watching the birds flying from tree to free! Incredible view and you can even see the mountain from the upstairs on a clear morning. Stayed for a long while and they made me feel so at home and even freshened up the sheets and towels! In walking distance of the main Ubud streets but loved this location too because it’s not in a super busy part of town! Highly recommend! I was there over Christmas and they even got me a sweet Christmas gift! The heart of this family is just so big. Already miss it!
