Great place one of cheapest options available but still provided amazing service. We had a bus delay and arrived at 1am and they woke up to check us in. Amazing staff 12/10 would recommend. Only downside is that it’s a little far from city but if you want to see the caves and old town it’s very convenient.

Lovely accommodation just off the main road where there are plenty eateries and walking distance to the mua caves, surrounding mountains and attractions. Friendly family, always very helpful and smiling. Breakfast included was an added bonus which is on a top floor with lovely views across the landscape. can also get an evening meal which was lovely and very reasonable too. thank you Long and family for a great stay.

Yes, you should absolutely stay here! This was the most amazing part of our whole trip to Vietnam, and we would have stayed longer if we could! As soon as we arrived Thành greeted us at the car and welcomed us with fresh coffee and local recommendations. He then showed us to our bungalow, which was clean, spacious, air conditioned, and great for the cost. For a small fee, his wife made us delicious traditional Vietnamese dishes morning and night! He also arranged all of our transport & tours for the best locations in Ninh Binh. The highlight of our vacation was joining Thành for a day as he personally guided us through Ninh Binh. We went to his family’s favorite restaurant, paddled down the Trang An river, and biked with him through the countryside as he taught us about local culture & customs. It was absolutely priceless :) If I ever go back to Vietnam, I know exactly where I’m staying!

Enjoyed my stay at Trang An Retreat. The location is beautiful, they rent motorbikes for a fair price so it's easy to go anywhere. Their complimentary breakfast is really good and the room is comfortable and clean.

We loved to stay there. The owners are so sweet and helpful. Big recommendation!

Our stay at Greenpeace Homestay was so perfect for a short time in Ninh Binh/Tam Coc. We arrived off our sleeper bus at 4:30am and the host allowed us to head straight for our room and sort check ins in the morning - she left the small light on in our room making it so cosy to come into. The place is a short walk from everywhere we visited in Tam Coc and the laundry service was extremely quick! Finally, as we left at 7am we missed breakfast but our hosts packed us a bag of snacks and water for our bus journey which was so kind and thoughtful - a perfect stay!

I had a great time a lotus field. They have a restaurant at the Homestay which is very convenient if you are like me & don’t ride a bike (everything can be quite far otherwise). The staff were very very helpful, communicative & always happy! I would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful stay with beautiful surroundings.

Don‘t need much words here: Perfect starting point for many expeditions in the area. The room is spacious, clean and comfy. The hosts are super friendly and easy reachable. 10/10, would recommend!
