Lovely house with amazing view over the lake. A house with a soul that feels cosy and welcoming, perfect for a family retreat and getting some fresh air for city folks. Very close to a stop/station of the cable train Rigibahn, so easy to access and get down to Vitznau, or up to Rigi Kaltbad and the trails up there. Caution: no car access, car must be parked down in the village. Path from cable train station to the house is quite steep, not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs or people uncomfortable with steep slopes. Apart from that, it was really a great place to stay, Lothar & Nicole are very nice hosts, easy to communicate with. We had a great time and definitely recommend this place.

If you are looking for a place that feels cozy, close to Interlaken, Lucern, Bern, etc; this is the place. We loved the outdoor terrace to unwind after our day with a bottle of wine. Quite area with a beautiful view. Highly recommend.

A house and garden perfect for those looking for peace in a beautiful environment. Very well equipped, this family home is however quite rustic and is particularly suitable for the beautiful season. Spacious garden, completely private with stunning views of the mountains and the hamlet of Frasco. Swimming spots away from super busy places within walking distance + departure of nice easy hikes (Sonogno 30min along the river and into the forest).

Our stay was fantastic! We had a very nice, quiet weekend. Perfect for unplugging! We can highly recommend the house (which has been so well renovated), the place and the hosts. We'll be happy to come back. Thanks Noé and family!

Great place for a quiet getaway

The place of Peter was very good located, next to everything one might need and also public transportation, but still in a very quite housing area with a beautifully and cared for garden for private use only for us. The kitchen had literally anything one needs and the ambience of the whole apartment was great, felt right from the beginning at home. Peter was on vacation but his family helped us out with any question and all communication was friendly and forthcoming. Absolutely recommendable.

Bea’s place is home away from home in Interlaken, love the quiet surroundings but still so easily accessible to the city centre and main train stations. Thank you Bea for sharing the location nearby restaurants.

Adrian is a great host. Had the place prepared nicely even with some cold Prosecco in the fridge. Very responsive and friendly, you can tell he cares to make his place enjoyable to stay at. Would definitely stay here again

Overall great experience. Check in was a little bit confusing but the host was always helpful to answer any questions. The location is in a beautiful place, here are restaurants and grocery stores fairly close by. For the price I would say the apartment is a little bit lacking but the location and view does make up for it.

This place is fantastic, it is well equipped, very clean and well placed for hikes with a beautiful hot tub for relaxing moments. Pierre is a welcoming host who has been able to advise us on activities in the region. We recommend this place without a second thought.

Had a great stay at a great apartment. Apartment was clean and tidy and excellent location: 5 minutes walk to the lake or 15 min walk to city center (or also 5 min by bike or tram). 2 supermarkets close by open till late and excellent Italian restaurant nearby with (for us importantly) very good gluten free options. Kitchen also equipped with all the necessary stuff (utensils, pans, etc) Communication with the host was also good and responsive. Overall we loved our stay and looking forward to coming back!

It matches the reviews left and the host's introduction. Clean, well-stocked accommodations and friendly and responsive hosts. The only regret is the location, but I think it is a characteristic of Grindelwald Chalet rather than the regrettable thing that the host's house has. This is the place I would like to use again if I visit Grindelwald again.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay in Peter’s lovely apartment at the walensee resort. He was super helpful with info and websites before we came and the apartment was as described. It was so beautiful and peaceful and just a few steps from the lake which we swam in every day. We loved having a little sunset drink at the kiosk just around the corner. The bottom of the cable car up the mountain was just a couple of minutes away and we enjoyed the toboggan and the Cliimber on the Flumsberg mountain. We hiked lots, and the mountain restaurants had play frames etc to entertain the kids. Highly recommended to all, and good value for Switzerland.

This location is stunning. With faultless views and great proximity to everything you need. The apartment was warm and homely with an extra touch of a Christmas tree. We loved it and will come back again

I have stayed James’s apartment before and can’t recommend highly enough, James is very responsive and considerate to our needs, even offering a delayed checkout due to adverse weather conditions in Andermatt. I soul not hesitate in recommending James and his property

The house was so beautiful we couldn’t believe our eyes when we walked through the door. Also the Mountain and lake view was like we where dreaming. It was so quit and peaceful, only wish we could stay longer! Definitely recommend. There’s a hotel Marina in the resort where you could go to a restaurant. The boat trip to Quintin and a ride to flumserberg is very easy to reach. Perfect to bring kids. Everything was so magical. 🥰

Locate just in the middle of the world class beautiful view. Guests enjoy the walkable distance to the cable cars top to the mountain.

Andrea’s place was cosy and clean.She immediately responded when we had a question. Great information about Aarau as well. Very friendly and would visit again!
