We loved the location of the house, private but super close to everything we had planned for our trip. The house was super spacious for our group of 9, the kids loved the pool. The home was clean and had everything we needed, the only thing I suggested to the host to improve on was squeaky beds upstairs. The hosts were very responsive to questions we had and gave us suggestions to restaurants. We would consider staying here again if we come back to Pigeon Forge.

This home was the perfect setting for all of our family to spend Christmas together. The mountain setting was peaceful and the views were great, and just 15 minutes away are the endless activities and restaurants as well as Smoky Mountain National Park is only about 25 minutes away. This location provides the perfect balance of hustle and bustle when you are looking for it and peace and quiet when you are not. Thomas is an amazing host and is always quick to respond and help out with any questions!

This Airbnb was stellar! My son turned 10 on Saturday, and this trip brought our family together from Cincinnati and Atlanta. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed ourselves. A special thank you for the donuts — it took us 20 minutes to eat them because we thought they were delivered to the wrong house! What a sweet surprise to find out they were from you. Thanks again for everything!

Chris is an impeccable host. There was a brief challenge with the door code system and he got back to us immediately and always anticipated what we would need. We had a great time!

We absolutely loved our stay at Shell Mountain Splash! With four kids 7-10 this was perfect for our two families! The kids loved the pool and had plenty of room to play and spread out. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we think we probably had the best view on the mountain! The beds were very comfortable, everything we were promised was there. The windy roads take a bit to get used to and our husbands were able to navigate the hill to the cabin on motorcycles with some patience and persistence. We do wonder if lower vehicles can safely enter the driveway as it is very steep and did have some scape marks so beware if your car sits lower to the ground. Definitely recommend overall!

We can’t think of anything negative about our stay! Simona was an incredible host and provided us with valuable information about EVERYTHING necessary for our entire vacation. The cabin was pristine, perfectly decorated and its amenities accommodated my 78 year old father as well as our teen daughter. You will not find a better cabin or a better host. We cannot wait to return!!!

Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful house and was exactly as described. Perfect for our 3 families (3 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 children). Great supply of dishware options and utensils for all of us. Also linen supply was fantastic! Kids definitely enjoyed the pool and the teen loved the game room. One thing we all really agreed on was how comfortable the beds and pillows were. We all love multiple pillows as well and had a great amount as well. Location was perfect. Not too far up the mountains but still up far enough to enjoy beautiful views. Not far from activities. One thing was when we arrived it looked as if the fire extinguisher was used on the grill by a previous guest. Used fire extinguisher was left along with the pin and tear tag just laying on the deck alone with extinguisher powder. Host was very helpful and brought new extinguisher and apologized for the cleanliness and said they would speak to their cleaning crew. Overall wonderful! And definitely recommend!

This place is what dreams are made of. It was perfect for meeting up with family for spring break. We had 5 kids between the ages of 5-14 and the downstairs was big enough for all of them, they stayed entertained for hours with all the games and the slide was a total game changer for the youngsters. We were able to enjoy evenings making smores and enjoying the hot tub, playing pool and just being together as a family. The location was great as well, it was close enough that we didnt have to travel too far to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg but far enough that it was peaceful and away from everything else so we were able to enjoy the nature as well. Some days the weather wasnt great, so the entertainment at the cabin was really awesome, we didnt have to figure out how to keep the kids busy. The kitchen had all you need to cook a full meal and plenty or seating for us all. The towels and linens were clean as well as the rooms. We were already talking about coming back next year!

This property was perfect for our group of 10 adults. the location was easy to access and close to grocery stores, hikes and plenty to do. The views were immaculate, and their amenities were well thought out, chargers in every room, and well stocked bathrooms and bedrooms for example. The cabin was spotless and had an abundance of space for cooking, eating and lounging as a group. I absolutely recommend this property as you will have plenty to do and plenty of space to do it. The photos dont do justice how beautiful this property is.

Our stay was wonderful. The cabin suited our needs well and the kids loved all the features. The cabin was easy to find, no issues with the roads to the cabin and only a short drive into town. The host even gave pretravel recommendations including a grocery store nearby to stock the fridge for our stay.

Beautiful home with lots of space. Would have been great for multiple families. Was just as described and appreciated the amenities. The beds were super comfortable and loved having all of those kings! If you’ve never been to the area before, the home is a bit away from the activities so just plan accordingly. The small town of Wears Valley is just down the road and has great food, a winery and a moonshine store as well as dollar general so that was super convenient. My son enjoyed the fishing pond and the pool looked like it was really nice once it’s in season. The house was well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen had plenty of supplies. The only other thing to be aware of is that the water stinks like rotten eggs but it sounds like that’s from sulfur in the well water. It didn’t change any opinion of the place, I don’t think it can be helped - just a bit of a heads up for others staying. Scott was very responsive and we had a great stay!

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s and very rarely do you find a place where the pictures don’t do it justice. This place is even better than the pictures. My family had a blast in the game room and that huge hot tub got my wife wanting one(thanks for that! Lol). Seriously if you are looking for an amazing property this is it! You might even see a bear!

We loved the house for our group of families. The kids loved the pool, game room, theatre and bunk room. The house was huge, clean and all the adults got their own long room with a bathroom. Highly recommend!

It was absolutely warm and welcoming the minute we walked in. I enjoyed the view on the deck the most! For my first time in Gatlinburg this truly was a beautiful place to stay!

The views were beautiful. House was very clean. We were coming from NY and weren't sure what time we would arrive. I sent a message and asked what time we could get in but didn't receive a reply. We just killed time ( about 2 hrs) until check in at 4pm.

We enjoyed our stay here and everything was as described. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond with recommendations and resolving the minor issues we did have. Enjoyed it!

The cabin was very clean and set up well. Only problem I had was there wasn’t a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom like the photos show. Other than that Jazmin was very responsive and made sure we had everything for our stay. She also sent cheek up messages to see if everything was going great. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

This mountain house was perfect for our family reunion. Beds are comfortable, place is clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates, and pans. It is close to Pigeon Forge and all the attractions that area has. Hosts are very responsive and helpful.

This was our first experience with Airbnb. And, Jennie’s house couldn’t have been more perfect. The space was perfect for us and our three young adult/adult children. Family time was incredible in this well-appointed, beautiful home! We played Pac Man. We had impromptu pool tournaments. My daughter had a well-deserved night of self care in the jacuzzi tub. The coffee bar was stocked with both K-cups and loose coffee, sugar and creamers for the two provided coffee makers. All of the appliances were clean and functioned perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the sheets couldn’t have been softer. I always have trouble both going to sleep and staying asleep. But, the combination of the mountain air and the homey cabin feel afforded me the best 5 nights of sleep I have had in decades. Jennie offered useful area recommendations, provided consistently friendly correspondence and quickly provided any troubleshooting we needed. Thank you, Jennie, for an incredibly memorable first experience.
