The place is really nice—tidy and cozy. Akanksha and Suhail are friendly and make us feel very welcome. Location is convenient and lovely with quiet neighbours, close to public transport and a park nearby. Ollie, Maya and Alphie are absolutely adorable. I would love to stay here again.

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host. It’s a charming home. Thanks so much.

Great base for exploring Durham and loads of room for us to relax and spread out. Ample parking, excellent kitchen and facilities and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

Staying at paul’s was a blast!! Paul was very nice and accommodating. Beautiful house and such a cozy atmosphere all over the place almost felt i was back home. Loved having my coffee in the garden every morning too. 10/10 experience Thank you so much Paul for being an excellent host and i really appreciated our convos. I’m so sad that my stay has come to an end!! Would definitely love to come here again! ♥️

We were totally thrilled to be staying at Candlemakers. Sarah met us with the keys and had decorated the apartment for Christmas. On entering the place was warm and welcoming. Sumptuous bedding and towels. Even a toweling robe and slippers. Everything in the apartment was top quality and anything we needed for our stay was provided. The location couldn’t be better and I can’t praise everything about Candlemakers highly enough. Absolutely highly recommended.

We came up to Morpeth to see family who live locally before Christmas week and wanted to make the trip special. Staying at this property certainly was. It was very welcoming with large kitchen and living room, warm lighting and loads of interesting art, ornaments, curios, balconies, bars, showers and baths. The whole experience felt luxurious and relaxing. Jon-Paul was available when needed and quick in his response.

A group of friends stayed at Aqeel’s place for one Saturday night. It was ideally located for the town centre and had all the facilities you would need for a comfortable short stay.

A perfect place to stay for visiting in the local area. On street parking but always found a space. Shower and toilet downstairs through kitchen which may not suit everyone but it was clean and tidy.

Clair's place is so lovely! Great location (near food, easy taxi, easy walking) and the listing was exactly as described. We loved the cemetery/church next door, and Stewart Park just across the street with a cafe for easy breakfast options. The neighbors were charming and helpful, and it was within easy travel distance from so many fantastic sights. Easy access to SO many other nearby locations, we were able to pack our stay with fun activities. The beds and bathroom were comfy, with lots of clean linens and bedding. We loved having a washing machine, and Clair made sure we had clothes pins to hang the laundry out to dry. Adorable back garden, too! The house itself was a treasure, with a rich local history. We'd stay with Clair again in a heartbeat.

This is my second time staying with Cait while I am on a training weekend in Newcastle. Perfect for my needs. Cait is really welcoming and makes me feel at home.

Just got back from our 2nd visit to this lovely house. Alicia (and her brother) are wonderful hosts. Very responsive and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. Love staying here and we will be back for sure!

Absolutely magic few days staying at David’s Airbnb. Completely recommend. Home is beautiful with several views looking out to sea - while also being stylish and relaxing and lots of light pouring in. Everything in the place is clearly thoughtful and considered. Parking is super convenient with space allocated at the back of the building. A lovely spot too; you can turn left or right out of the house and walk to beaches and eating spots in minutes. Such a friendly area; runners, cyclists and dog walkers aplenty, delicious fish and chips nearby. Will hopefully stay again, thanks David.

Lovely house, with a good and enclosed pet friendly back garden, and the property is very well located for both Bishop Auckland town centre and Kynren.

Another amazing stay over the Christmas holidays. They made me feel very welcome and it is like a second home. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have a clean shower everyday with hot water. The room and bathroom are very private. They even provided snacks, a electric tea kettle and other amenities. They have a tv with access to Netflix and other streaming sites. The bonus was having dinner with them every night, including my first British Christmas dinner. They truly made me feel at home and are very generous. Bailey, their dog even played fetch with me.
