This is the second time I've stayed at Akanksha's, and I've already booked for a third! It's a lovely friendly home: peaceful, comfortable l, plenty of space to yourself, and a welcoming couple (and pets!). I'm looking forward to staying there again.

Graham and Liz were a delightful couple to stay with. The bedroom had plenty of room and a very comfortable large bed and storage. The little snug, a small sitting room next to the bedroom was lovely to relax in. Having my own shower room and toilet near the bedroom was great. It was very peaceful in the house and my dog Raphi was very settled and enjoyed the local parks. The local small Sainsbury's just 3 minutes away was great being so close and also a variety of restaurants and wine bars nearby. I would certainly highly recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic quirky place, great location close to a local pub and the town high street. Place is cosy and warm with everything you could want from shower gel to air frier, superb host. Thank you Jane and Anthony, I really enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay and a pleasant walk into the city ! Mary Kate is a lovely host, and the accommodation met all my needs. I would definitely recommend and hopefully be back.

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host. It’s a charming home. Thanks so much.

Staying at paul’s was a blast!! Paul was very nice and accommodating. Beautiful house and such a cozy atmosphere all over the place almost felt i was back home. Loved having my coffee in the garden every morning too. 10/10 experience Thank you so much Paul for being an excellent host and i really appreciated our convos. I’m so sad that my stay has come to an end!! Would definitely love to come here again! ♥️

We were totally thrilled to be staying at Candlemakers. Sarah met us with the keys and had decorated the apartment for Christmas. On entering the place was warm and welcoming. Sumptuous bedding and towels. Even a toweling robe and slippers. Everything in the apartment was top quality and anything we needed for our stay was provided. The location couldn’t be better and I can’t praise everything about Candlemakers highly enough. Absolutely highly recommended.

Nice comfortable property with everything we needed for a nice break. Great location with easy access to pubs and beaches. would recommend anyone looking to stay in the area checks this place out

A good practical choice for anyone wanting to spend a few days in the centre of Darlington., especially for those visiting on business. The place is clean, comfortable and has all you need. Excellent value.

A group of friends stayed at Aqeel’s place for one Saturday night. It was ideally located for the town centre and had all the facilities you would need for a comfortable short stay.

Perfect place for a stag do, Shazad was brilliant, location was brilliant, recommend for large groups. Howay the lads

The house was lovely and clean and is a walk away from Norton High street. It was my 2nd time staying and I will definitely be staying again

Clair's place is so lovely! Great location (near food, easy taxi, easy walking) and the listing was exactly as described. We loved the cemetery/church next door, and Stewart Park just across the street with a cafe for easy breakfast options. The neighbors were charming and helpful, and it was within easy travel distance from so many fantastic sights. Easy access to SO many other nearby locations, we were able to pack our stay with fun activities. The beds and bathroom were comfy, with lots of clean linens and bedding. We loved having a washing machine, and Clair made sure we had clothes pins to hang the laundry out to dry. Adorable back garden, too! The house itself was a treasure, with a rich local history. We'd stay with Clair again in a heartbeat.

Lovely little property, easy walk to the high street and supermarkets. We were visiting family so not really doing the touristy thing this time.the Beehive is a great quite spot central for the beach, the moors and the bigger towns if required. We'll be back!

Just got back from our 2nd visit to this lovely house. Alicia (and her brother) are wonderful hosts. Very responsive and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. Love staying here and we will be back for sure!

Lovely house, with a good and enclosed pet friendly back garden, and the property is very well located for both Bishop Auckland town centre and Kynren.
