Amir is one of the most responsive (if not the most responsive) hosts I’ve encountered. He is always available for questions and super friendly. The apartment is in a beautiful peaceful street near balboa park and the zoo. It is well decorated and I found the amenities in great condition. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. Overall, I had a great experience there.

John is the MAN. So accommodating and just an all out solid neighbor! Our family was experiencing an unfortunate water leak in our home, and had to move out for a period of time, John welcomed us with such open arms into his beautiful La Mesa home. Although we only stayed there for three nights, my wife, and girls and I enjoyed memorable s'mores nights and endless dart games. Transitioning from your familiar home and routines can be hard for kids, but John and his home made it such an easy transition and comfortable space that we all found peace. We would recommend this quaint little escape to anyone local or visiting San Diego. Thank you again John for your communication and your incredible hospitality. I hope we cross paths again soon!

We had a very comfortable stay - spacious bedroom and living space; well stocked kitchen and nice outdoor space. Quiet residential block; short walk/drive to beach, shops, restaurants. Meghan and Ben were very responsive and accommodating.

Great well kept fantastic home, great back yard, great private gate car park. House is in great condition like new. Great location to highway, short distance to downtown, beach. Lacee's place was a great spot for a girls weekend. the 8 of us enjoyed using the spa and sprawling in the expansive dining and living room. All of the extras were more than generous and included good coffee, wonderful body wash and quality linens. Pool is surrounded by lush vegetation but that does make it a bit hard to get a tan. All beds were great, we did not need the office sofa bed and we're glad we didn't count on it, it's pretty spring forward, would love for that to have just been a queen mattress. We would all recommend and return.

I absolutely love and adore V&C’s home in San Diego. I loved the decor, the open space, and such a “vacation vibe backyard (the jacuzzi was perfect touch!!)” loved the layout of the home and how extremely fresh and clean the linen down to the dishes were. Very responsive hosts and very friendly. Loved how they prepare everything in the rooms— towels, towels for hot tub, laundry usage if needed, and so much space and beauty in the home. Will absolutely want to stay here for all my SD trips to come. It was perfect for my kids who enjoyed themselves!

Rebecca and Jeremy were amazing hosts for the stay! They were very kind and communicative throughout in addition to being accessible when needed. There place felt right at home and there is a lot to do in the area as well as short cummutes away. Was a great first experience in San Diego and looking forward to returning! Highly recommend them as hosts!

Mary and Tony were amazing and attentive hosts and you can’t beat the location! Surrounded by water and beautiful beaches in every direction. We were there over New Years Eve and on top of a little welcome basket, they provided us with New Years hats and noise makers for the festivities. Very thoughtful. We were traveling with our 11 month old and I was very grateful that the they had a pack n play and baby tub (they only have a shower at the Airbnb, so baby tub was a necessity!). The stairs up to the Airbnb are steep, but they do have a baby gate. I didn’t really trust the gate, so kept my little one away from that area altogether (I would maybe recommend a gate that bolts into the wall for better security). We had everything we needed there and felt very much at home. We will definitely stay there when we come back. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mary and Tony!!! :)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was lovely and a wonderful location with close access to the beach and to all the local shops and great restaurants. The chairs, umbrellas and other gear they provided made our beach days perfect. The patio was great - lively in the evenings with good people watching, but perfectly quiet once you came back inside. We will definitely be back!

Great location. It's near a surfer beach, but if you're comfy with the ocean, it's a great hang. Also, within about 10m of the main La Jolla Beach which is superb. Cy has all your needs for a great beach stay: boogie board, umbrella, towels, chairs, sand mat, toys. Close location to some decent food. Cy communicates quickly and thoroughly, but otherwise stays out of your way. Place was very clean with a cool shower head. Neighbors in the apartment were very friendly as well. Would absolutely recommend for a beach stay.

This home exceeded my expectation's. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a dream place to stay and worth every penny. It was so lovely my daughter didn't want to leave. The noise from the airplanes that some people mentioned was not bad at all. We hardly noticed and if anything they are soothing. The location is perfect. We never had a problem with parking and can walk to local restaurants and even a 7/eleven. Prime location! Jessica was also very sweet and was always available to answer my questions. I highly recommend this place to everyone! We will be coming back everytime we need a place in San Diego. This place deserves more than 5 stars!

In a very nice area. Easy to find easy to walk to the beach. Not far from restaurants. The unit is as described. Is small but doable for a couple or solo traveler even with a dog. Sofa could use replacing but otherwise is very nice. Would recommend

My family, dogs, and I loved this place! Everything we needed in the house itself. Easy walk to the dogs beach. Friendly neighborhood. Easy access to food and drinks. What more to love? Host was wonderful too. Very responsive and gave clear instructions for check in and check out. Definitely a must reserve whenever there is an opening!

The place/location were great! More than enough room inside to accommodate my girlfriend and I. Kitchen was stocked with all the supplies needed to cook meals. Bathroom/bedroom was clean and the hosts were extremely responsive. Hard to complain about the location! Walkable coffee shops, restaurants, markets, bars & the beach/bay. Would definitely recommend, as we had a great time!

We loved our stay here! There was plenty of space for our family of 6. Unfortunately a few of us got sick during our visit but this place was a comfortable space to recuperate and isolate in. There was lots to do nearby. We loved walks on the beach and exploring local restaurants. Thanks again!

We have done Verbo Vacasa and Airbnb properties. This was by far the most accurate and most fun and cleanest and nicest and honest location that we have done. We cannot wait to come back there.

Junn was great to communicate with. We had our 10 month old baby, and she had a playpen for her which fit in the closet which was a bonus for sleeping! She also had a highchair, baby toys, and books: more bonuses! The apartment was comfortable and cozy. She had plenty of coffee so we didn’t run out. The couch and bed were comfy and overall we had a great stay! We loved how close everything was and were happy to find some good restaurants in the area .
