Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Garden Route District Municipality

We were made to feel so special with a personalized welcome board at the entrance to the island, a water bowl waiting for our dog after a hot car drive, and a really helpful info pack that kept us busy with things to do & see. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could ever need, and Maria & Martin are so lovely. The island is such a special place and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!!

Words cannot describe how beautiful the place was. It was spacious for us as a family and we had everything we needed. It’s close to shops and the beach. It was very well worth it and the hosts really put a lot of effort into making it a stay worth while. Thank you very much Lizinda and Rudi. It was a fantastic stay in Plett. We enjoyed all the facilities and the braii and outdoor fire pit area was great. Jonathan was a superb host an and extremely responsive and friendly. A lovely, modern home with exceptional showers, towels and kitchen facilities, comfortable beds and high quality linen. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

This property was a modern but comfortable beauty and a perfect location. Great shared spaces for meals and spending time with friends. Each bedroom had a bathroom for guests, which was amazing and convenient. The backyard was directly connected to a great walking path, which takes you directly to shops, restaurants, and docks just a mile away. Great food nearby and great shopping, especially for women’s clothing. Our hosts were very responsive and super accommodating. They left perfect instructions for an easy check in/check out process. If we return to Knysna we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Cecile's place was brilliant! It was like a little bit of heaven and perfect for our two families (with kids). All the amenities you need, with the house being indoor and outdoor living. Pool is a plus! It's really close to the lagoon and only a short walk to the main town. The Wilderness is a real treat. Cecile is a fantastic host and was always there if we needed her. She gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Thanks, Cecile, we can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Studio-on-hill! The view was just breathtaking and being able to sleep with the sound of the waves in the background was so special. The aforementioned stairs to the property are a thing but then the reward is well worth it! The accommodation felt so private and tranquil even though the beach was just a stone’s throw away. Ronel was such a wonderful host - kind and friendly and she made lots of small touches that made our stay extra special. The only downside was having to say goodbye! We would love to come back and stay again!!

Wonderful farm setting. Ample of space for groups. Modern space on equestrian smallholding. Before setting off, just confirm exact location due to maps not quite accurate. Approach from airport side. Other than that- perfect!

Home away from home, what a Gem of a place. This is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. You hear the ocean, you see the ocean. The unit is set out perfectly not to many things, movable. Felt like home. This is a great place for a holiday.

We had a lovely time. Place was clean and tidy exactly like the fotos.. A view to die for. Will definitely book her place again ..

We only stayed one night and Avril was very flexible and easy to communicate with. We loved the location and loved still bay. The beach is a very short walk and beautiful water to swim in. We would definitely come back and spend more time. "On the rocks" restaurant for dinner and "fresh lemon" for breakfast I would recommend.

Excellent spot for a longer stay! Quiet,Comfortable, beautiful designed cottage with everything you need. Felt like home right away! We loved this place, close to the city centre and beaches. What a beautiful area. Sheila is a perfect host; friendly, relaxed and respected our privacy. Don’t hesitate, this place is ‘the best’😎!!

The tiny house was a delightful stay. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and located in a fantastic spot, making it perfect for exploring the area. The only thing missing for us was Wi-Fi.

It was very relaxing and peaceful at Taryn’s place. Loved being in nature. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It is so wonderful to see a business invest in improving the environment by planting indigenous trees and preventing soil erosion, setting up eco friendly camping sites. The only issue was the solar power and inverter system which did not power up the fridge for more than 4 hours. Other than that we had a lovely stay - thank you Taryn!

Second time staying here and really enjoyed. Perfectly located and great mix between comfort and nature experience. The new bath tab is epic! Highly recommended!

The cabin is in one word GREAT! The views are stunning, the bath outside a unique selling point, the bedding luxurious and the braai area and kitchen had everything we needed for a nice meal. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin to others!

To say that Davide’s property is tranquil, beautifully decorated and spacious with views that are amazing doesn’t do justice to this piece of heaven. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we loved the large variety of birds that visit the house, the sound of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other side. The house has everything you need and all the small details are taken care of to make your stay even more special. The property is easy to find, and with Wilderness only a stones throw away, beaches and the mall are very accessible. Warren, the house manager, was great as well. The steep road to the property takes getting used to but it’s part of the experience. All in all, this was one our favourite properties so far.

The best Airbnb experience that we have had! We spent three days over new years at this beautiful cabin. Like everyone says, you completely disconnect, and get absorbed by nature while staying here - it’s like the real world ceases to exist while you are here. We were incredibly comfortable here, and our pup also LOVED the visit. There is literally every single amenity you could think of here! Making you feel right at home. Craig is an amazing host. We were greeted with homemade chocolate chip cookies, jam and self roasted coffee (buy some from him!! Won’t disappoint!). We cannot wait to visit this magical place again. Thank you SO much for the phenomenal hospitality!

This unit was neat and clean with everything you need. The towels were change regularly and the bed was the most comfortable bed. Leigh-Ann responded quickly on my emails from day one. The wifi worked properly. This was just a lovely stay.
