What a great place for a getaway!! The large spacious home was very comfortable and easy to find. Everything was provided that you could possibly need including nightlights in the bathrooms. The kitchen cabinets even had darling labels, so you didn't have to waste time searching for things. Instructions were clear for checking in and out. There was information provided about the local area that proved very helpful. Karla thought of everything!!

This place was beautiful. Donnie is seriously soooo nice, he helped us with our car when we had our bumper nearly half off. It was quiet and serene with the lake there. The wildlife watching was incredible. We did an ATV tour with Eric and saw the baby fallow dear and some blackbuck. The Pierre David’s deer were in their rutting season so it was like watching something out of National Geographic. It was kind of amazing waking up to see them right next to our car!

No Egrets was perfect for us as headquarters for several days of birdwatching at High Island, Anahuac Wildlife Refuge and Bolivar Flats. It’s central to all the bird nerd hot spots! It’s a smallish space but they do a lot with it, it’s comfortable and well-appointed. We’ll definitely be back next spring hen we visit the rookery at Smith Oaks again!

The cabin is decorated stylish with charm . Very quiet and peaceful. I did not see other tenants or guest on the property. 2 cute mallard ducks were all I seen walking about.I enjoyed the privacy and quiet atmosphere. The host Kat was extremely administrable . A couple of issues (on my end) came about which she was very understanding and patient with me. She offered solutions before I even had to ask , which made things go smoothly. I recommend this cabin for any occasion.

What a cute home! Tangee did an amazing job making the place feel cozy and SO CLEAN. Everything felt very new and modern. The beds were super comfortable. Loved how much space there was to gather as a big group, and the beach was so close by.

We had a great stay! The house was new, clean, and beautifully decorated with plenty of space for our group of three families. There was lots of seating, both inside and out, which made it perfect for hanging out. We especially enjoyed using the smoker for meals, and the location was close enough to the beach for easy access. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing beach getaway!

Frank was extremely flexible. I had an issue with the Airbnb app and booked the wrong weekend by accident. They worked diligently to really accommodate my needed reservation change. The restaurants nearby were great and a boat launch was right down the street. The only down side was there was not any linens for the futon. However given the flexibility and responsiveness definitely offsets the linens. Definitely a great host.

As a first time air b&b user we stressed about finding a good place. The cottages were up to date and super clean. We stayed in cabin B and it had a great air conditioner. FYI; it’s only a one minute walk from the cottage to Pier 6 restaurant (great seafood and service).

We had on hiccup when I arrived the smoke detector’s battery was dying but they were responsive and super quick to resolve. Everything was neat comfortable. Just about everything you need is there. My trip was a solo work trip and it worked perfectly for what I need and was very comfortable.

We loved everything about this place! The space was gorgeous and super clean. There was so much to do, and a great location to go visit el jardin. Galveston bay brewery is right across the street and offers kid friendly playground and yummy food. We will definitely come back again.

We get to the coast every Thanksgiving week the last 13 years. 2024 was spent on Bolivar at this great rental. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, pups loved to run the wrap around deck and use the dog run. I got to watch sunsets from the deck and beach, while enjoying hot coffee in morning and cold beverage at night. It was a great week getaway for our family. We made a Thanksgiving feast using the grill and had more than enough dishes to serve all our sides. Thank you for hosting us and welcoming us to the coast!

I enjoyed the cabin very much. The property is very peaceful and the pond is beautiful. I found myself walking around and enjoying the peaceful break from the city. When I drove in, it was dark and the host called me and guided me in. The room was in great condition and the water heats fast for the shower. The beds are comfortable and the a/c cools the room fast. I can’t wait to stay again.

Nancy and her co-host were great and super responsive! When I arrived, I realized the property wasn’t fully fenced like stated, however, they immediately updated the home’s description and reimbursed my for the leashes I purchased despite there being a leash policy (sign was posted but not on listing). There was a mishap on my part, but Nancy handled the situation with so much kindness. I’d happily stay on her property again!
