Vacation rentals in Galloway

We loved the open, clutter-free, light-filled space at Margo‘s home. All amenities were completely available and accessible. The view of the lake and the stars at night were fantastic. Arrowtown is just a 6-minute drive away, perfect for our morning coffee and breakfast. The airport is also close, and Queenstown is about 20 minutes away but we didn’t miss being in the midst of the hubbub. Really appreciate having such a peaceful and restorative stay during our family’s travels!

Again we were not disappointed staying at Geraldines place. This is the 4th time we have stayed here, this place is perfect for our family.

Lovely cosy house with plenty of space for a family of 4. Very clean & kitchen well equipped. Lounge & bedrooms very comfortable. Easy to find & convenient 4 square down the road.

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

We loved our stay in Cardrona! The Apartment was perfect for our short stay with everything we needed. Great powerful shower and laundry facilities. This kitchen was also well equipped! The pool was lovely, a great addition to the stay. We loved visiting the Cardrona Hotel Restaurant, and had the bar food. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Great stay at Rachel’s place, a perfect crib close to Arrowtown, really responsive and helpful host!

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a good shower. Having access to a washer and dryer was so helpful. I highly recommend the homemade, delivered-to-your-door breakfast—fantastic, fresh, and delicious. Don’t miss out on the wood-fired hot tub experience either; soaking under the night sky in the peace and quiet of their property was truly special. The hosts were friendly and responsive, as were their cuddle-seeking golden retrievers. Cromwell has more to offer than you might expect, from wineries to stone fruit stands. The stay was also very modestly priced, especially for what you get. Felt grateful to have been there.

The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry. The rooms were very comfortable. Jacqueline was a great host and very responsive. I would highly recommend staying here.
