DB Hidaway was so cute and cozy. Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all! Beautiful surroundings. Very clean and comfortable. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our host left us a sweet card with some goodies! if we ever get back to the ares this will be our go to place!

What a Great Lake house for friends and family and dogs for Thanksgiving! Everything you need from tv’s, cooking and eating. Outside areas to enjoy and entertain. Highly recommend!

This is a great little cabin. It was quiet in the trees and perfect for the relaxing we came to do. I really love the shower upstairs and the kitchen. We didn’t try the hot tub but it looked wonderful too. Great time away from real life and I would highly recommend it :)

Great cabin with peaceful surroundings. Quiet and what I loved most, dark at night. Bed was comfy too. The hot tub was an added plus as well as the goat farm just down the street Karon recommended to us. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Private and relaxing place to stay, if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities. The accommodations were easy to access, clean and comfortable. The grounds, pool, and hot tub where exactly as expected. The country feel and views were extremely comforting. Even though the hens are a little older, they gave us the best eggs we've ever had! The wildlife alone gives you a great reason to just sit on the porch, or by the pool, and enjoy life. Kristin was super attentive to our questions, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed/ asked for. Super dog friendly, and the teens also enjoyed the relaxing stay! By far a top host, exceeded our expectations, and would recommended, even though we were an hour away from our familial destinations. The location Ave experience are totally worth the drive out to Decatur. 💜

Loved the privacy, the little outside fire pit was great! Me and my pup really enjoyed our stay, perfect size for us & the bed was soooo comfy! 10/10 would recommend

Jack's place was cozy, very clean and the restaurant at the marina was awesome! My husband & I highly recommend Jack’s cabin. Jack went above & beyond to accommodate us. And we can’t leave out lover boy Rex, his bull mastiff. Such a sweet boy. We will for sure be going back. Thank you for everything Mr Jack. We had a great time💜

We suffered a loss in the family that evening and the southern hospitality stood out. The way they treated us was top notch and their future business endeavors will be supported by my wife and I. This is a relationship that stood out and you can’t find that in a five star. Thank y’all so much.

Was a perfect one night stay for my husband and me. We came to Bowie for a wedding and it was a nice peaceful location.

This is a fantastic home in a quiet, wooded area. The home was comfortable, inviting and well maintained. We had zero issues. We loved the front porch. We would sit outside and listen to the owls in the evening. Deer would wander through the yard. It was all so magical. This is a wonderful place to go and unwind.

Kayla was a very welcoming and communicative host. The check in process was very simple and we felt very secure on the property, the cabin was so cozy and had the perfect amount of beds for our group too! The fire pit and charcoal grill were both used and an amazing addition to the property. All the amenities made our visit very enjoyable. Thank you Kayla! Will be back!

By far one of the best Airbnb listings I’ve ever stayed at, as a veteran of this platform I was blown away by this home and the quality of attentiveness that Bonnie provided. The home was immaculate and filled with every amenity you can ever want, the listing was also squeaky clean and tucked away in a beautiful location with plenty of space. The fire pit and dogs that roamed the property were our favorite. I highly suggest this home to anyone looking for a getaway from the big city or somewhere to hang for a few days, thanks Bonnie!

I’m writing this review instead of my husband because I have OCD and am incredibly particular about cleanliness and comfort when staying at other people’s homes. That being said… this lake house was practically PERFECT! I had zero issues with cleanliness and found myself daydreaming about living here forever. It was such a relief to not feel the usual stress and hesitation about touching anything or even walking barefoot on the floors—everything was spotless. NO CLOTHES WERE HIDDEN BEHIND CURTAINS (for some reason most homes we’ve stayed at have this problem)!!! I legit took pictures of their interior design highlight to get ideas for my own home too. The hosts thought of every tiny detail to make the stay welcoming and comfortable (they made elephants out of towels! What beautiful human thought of that?!)!I would recommend this place 1000% to even my closest family members! I truly hope I get the chance to come back soon. THANK YOU to the wonderful hosts for giving me hope in AirBnB!

The location was just what I needed. Quiet, relaxing, and yet close to anything I needed. Jeff was a great host and the cabin was immaculate. I will be back!

Our stay at the Lake House was very nice. The house is not huge but there was plenty of room for us all. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen is stocked, but I missed my knives. The very best part of our stay was access to the beach. It was wonderful! The water is very shallow so the littles could get in a play without us worry about them too much. The sand is as white as any beach in Texas. So nice! The kids loved playing in it too. It was a little bit of a hike down to the beach. It would not be an easy walk for someone who is somewhat handicapped. But we all made it just fine. The main road is a little noisy during the day, but not much noise at night. I would definitely recommend this place.

Loved our stay here, the cabin is so peaceful and lovely! It was very clean with lots of attention to detail. Addison was very responsive and flexible. We will be coming back!

Christi was great at answering all questions that my Grandparents had about staying in an Airbnb for the first time. Christi sent us a helpful document with information about the property and the local area. The property matched the pictures and the description. We were very happy with our stay.
