Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gabriola

The pictures don't really do justice to how beautiful this home is! It's spacious, modern, inviting, well-appointed, and convenient. Despite being right off of a major road (which is very convenient), the property is quiet and peaceful. The space available was entirely private - we never even had an inkling that we were sharing the property with anyone else. Check in was a breeze, and the entire experience was well supported by the owners. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again any time.

Alexandra's Airbnb in Nanaimo, BC was just great--so much so that with regard to the star ratings I wish I could have given greater than five! In fact, the location gives life to the slogan Beautiful BC, situated on the coast as it is with full view of the islands and inlets which give coastal British Columbia its unique flavor. We enjoyed the hot tub, and beach below, views of the ferries and bird life and tides, the weather coming in and so much more. The binoculars on the table upstairs got a lot of use, and were one of the many neat features of this lovely house. Plus, the easy access to town was perfect for us! Thank you, Alexandra, for a lovely time, and we hope to be return guests if you'll have us in the not too distant future!

We had a wonderful time staying here with Scott and Shaidah. Especially loved how well stocked the kitchen was, from appliances to supplies, we had everything we needed and more. The house itself and the surrounding areas were gorgeous. Would love to stay again

Sharon was an incredible host and her home was absolutely beautiful. This was my family’s first time on Bowen Island and Sharon’s home left an incredible first impression for them! She was so friendly from the get go and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. The home itself was so cozy and homely with such amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to visit again and again.

Lovely home was a perfect location for our family Christmas away. Lots of space, well appointed home, big kitchen/dining area. House is located in a central area and we were able to walk or catch a bus to anywhere we wanted to go. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Lyndsey's was absolutely DELIGHTFUL. It super cozy, super clean, and just perfect for our family visit! I only regret that our stay was only for a day, but next time we're definitely staying longer. Glorious.

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

Billie was super responsive and hospitable. She met us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed. She even customized a welcome for us. Very cute bungalow and very cozy!

This was a beautiful place to stay and walking distance from transportation, food, and a lot of activities. I would definitely stay here again in the future, Hellena was a great host!

Tao’s place was right beside the arena and stadium and a convenient walk into downtown with great dining options. Tao is responsive and the unit is well equipped for 3 people. Recommended.

An older home with lots of character...it exceeded our expectations! Well maintained and very spacious. Lots of room for guests to mingle or to find a quiet spot of their own. Our group of 7 women appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, the comfy beds and the many bathrooms. And it was good fun having "our own" indoor, heated pool and hot tub. Located in the middle of the island, the property provided a great home base from which to explore Gabriola. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Janie's place to friends and family, and I hope to return someday soon.

The place was clean and had what we needed. The host checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. The location is right near a hockey stadium with restaurants everywhere! It was a nice, clean place to stay.

Thank you so much Jamie We are appreciated for the opportunity to stay at such gorgeous place for 2 nights they have a lot of kitchenware, washing machine and dryer, hair dryer, iron and much more, which makes the stay very easy and enjoyable. additional pleasant for having hot tab and two ovens built into the wall for convenience. the house has many windows, which saturates it with daylight and the view from the balcony is simply stunning this place is pet friendly and can fit up to 2 families Jamie was super easygoing and responsive high recommendations👌 for your trip

We had a great time. Loved the walking paths and access to the beach. Easy drive to interesting areas and stores. We would definitely stay again!

Definitely a 10/10. The cottage was immaculate and was equipped with all the amenities needed for our stay. It was cozy, warm, comfortable and quiet. In walking distance to Rathtrevor Beach and the Top Bridge Trail. Also, close to restaurants and stores if needed. We stayed 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend - October 2024

We had a great time at this air bnb. We could really tell that there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into the place, in the furnishings, amenities, and - something people often overlook - safety! There was a sign from the city stating that it was a legal suite and there were flashlights by the light switches in case of an emergency. I also really appreciated that it was pet friendly and very clean. Thanks!

Jane’s place is a beautiful wooded property, very quiet, nicely decorated and we had all we needed. While it is a tiny home it is well laid out and we were cozy and warm even in late Dec. The separate bathhouse was very spacious and the heated floors made the temperature very comfortable. Jane was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Jennifer and Steve were amazing hosts. They answered all of our questions and were very friendly! The place was perfect and a great view of the water and so cozy! Everything they had on the listing was provided! Was perfect for a getaway on Bowen Island!

The suite is a gem, beautiful views, so quiet and very comfortable. Exactly what my wife and I were looking for from an weekend escape. There were 2 huge thick beds for our dogs, and because we doubled up with the ones we brought, they thought they had gone to heaven - in fact they don't often settle in new places, but they immediately relaxed. Bathroom was spotless with quality supplies . And the kitchen facilities were sufficient for me to prepare and deliver a 3 course meal. Lots of great hiking within 10 mins drive and easy access to the restaurants and shops in Gibsons. Already tried to book it again, and we will be back for sure.

Its one of the most surreal stays I've had in my life.

Catherine's home was exactly as she described. She was very helpful with directions for getting around the island, gave me some tips around times that things close, where to find nice art. I arrived very late and her place was easy to get into. There was a pretty lighted path to show me the way to the door I needed to use. She is creating a water feature in her yard. It's going to be just gorgeous. The outside space is created for conversation in different settings within the property. If I visit Mayne Island again I will definitely go back.

This suite was perfect. Easy to get to, close to the shops. Kenny was easy to contact. The house and kitchen were well appointed. Lots of towels/ soaps/trash bags etc. Would recommend staying here. Lovely to be able to have our dog there.
