The host was very responsive with any issues we had. House is comfortable and in a great location right in town with a nice big back yard. We were traveling for a sports event and this place is the perfect walking distance to the high school! Will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to other families traveling for sports events.

Adam's place is exactly what we needed for our large family on the peninsula for sports. It's conviently located just outside of downtown Soldotna easy to get to SoHi, Kenai High, and Nikiski High. The house was big enough for us to spread out and everyone to have their own space. The kitchen had all the basics and a BBQ on the porch for use. There were even a few spices and K-Cups. Adam was very responsive when we had questions and super friendly.

Perfect place to stay for 5 of us traveling for a hockey tournament! We didn’t want the noise of a hotel and this house was in a quiet location near the Kenai rink. House was well stocked with several items, including fresh eggs! Thank you!

We have family on the Kenai Peninsula and have been looking for our go to "home away from home" for our visits...and I think we found it! Carl gave me clear directions and check in instructions before our arrival and let me know that the place was ready before the normal check in. It was exactly as described, totally clean, and had pretty much everything we needed for an extended stay. Parking is right outside the entrance for easy in and out. The decor and custom touches were very nice - especially loved the door to the unit. It was filled with light from the large windows and sliding door. The bathroom was generously sized. Bed was comfy. There were extra blankets, great for cool fall mornings. It was lovely to walk on the beach and watch the sunsets. We are very grateful that we were able to have hubby's mom and brother over for family dinner. We hope to be able to return more frequently and for longer visits now that we've found this wonderful place to stay.

Kate has a nice house that is close & convenient to restaurants & stores in Soldotna. The house was clean & quiet. We would definitely stay at this house again!

Gary & Teresa are awesome hosts! Very nice people who were very responsive and helpful to any requests. This place has everything you need to be comfortable. They care to stock the kitchen and home with the little things you'd need down to the chocolates jars they leave out! I would definitely rent this again! Thank you Gary & Teresa!

This place was great! Needed a place to stay while attending a tournament! It was also super cool to see a moose the next morning near the home! Very Alaskan! :)

It worked out fine for our needs for last-minute fishing trip during peak season. It was very basic with a bathroom, comfortable beds refrigerator, heat and a TV (was not used). Host was extremely accommodating and very passionate about getting people out on the river fishing. You do need to use bottled water for drinking and making coffee, as it is pretty metallic like a lot of Alaska water. You come here expecting exactly what you see. Book your fishing trip with scout lake adventures.

Lots of space. Had all the things for cooking on our weekend away. We would Gladly stay again!

Fred's place is fantastic. Very, very, clean and comfortable. The space was well thought out and useful. Very private and peaceful location. Great place to relax and enjoy all that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. Highly recommend!

Jamie ‘s cabin is absolutely wonderful! The location and views are spectacular. It’s serene and peaceful here and you feel right at home when you arrive. Jamie is a very thoughtful and kind host and makes sure you have everything you need! She is highly responsive to any communication and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay! The house is decorated beautifully and was extremely clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable with 100% cotton sheets and warm blankets. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked, and there is ample storage for all your gear. I had an incredible stay and I highly recommend Rustic Mountain Lake Cabins; Jamie is a fantastic host!

We had an amazing time staying at Pat's cabin. Beautiful views and exactly as described! Pat came and checked on us and offered some great advise on what to do nearby. The cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed. Would have stayed longer if we already didn't have plans for the next evening. 10/10 would recommend!!

Sharon was very hospitable and the cabin was exactly what my family needed for a week's get away for fishing. I would love to come back again for another adventure.

First time in Alaska we wanted a central home base to explore the Kenai Peninsula. Our waterfront cabin along the Kenai River did not disappoint. Big windows for a great view from inside the cabin and a nice deck for sitting outside. Brought fish home from fishing near Coopers Landing & cleaned them and cooked them on the grill outside. Also fished right from our private dock at the cabin. Kitchen & large dining table was great for our group of 6 to pull together for breakfast before heading out each morning to explore. Fishing gear is provided on site including rods, tackle, and waders, and there is a coin operated washer/dryer for guest use as well. Our beds were comfy & bedrooms had blackout curtains for summer sleeping. Good info in our guest book. Easy communication with our hosts. Good spot to day trip to explore Homer, Seward and Soldotna. Beautiful sunrise over the river. Recommended!

Beautiful setting and comfy furniture. This is a great landing spot. The 3rd bed is in an arctic entry/addition so a bit chilly. We were welcomed by a moose stopping by the backyard for dinner. We didn’t have time to build a fire in the fire pit, but it would’ve been an awesome setting to do so. Neat place!
