Beautiful little hideaway - interior is comfortable and has lovely extra touches - beds that lift and lower, robes, throw blankets, cookware, games and tons of books to enjoy either by the interior electric fire or by one of the two (!!) outdoor fire pits. Wonderful little gathering areas outside with spectacular views. The sauna was a delight.

Definitely recommend! It was our second time staying at the rental. Perfect location, quality household goods, everything worked fine, lovely views. We visited Little Wild Horse Trail and Singing Canyon area on Burr Trail, both unexpected highlights worth the drive from the rental. Bought incredible local steak in Loa and grilled on the patio. Also appreciated the quietness of the rural neighborhood, no barking dogs or screaming kids or construction noise. No strong household fragrances or strong air fresheners was ideal since I am allergic. Just incredible fresh clean mountain air. We left so relaxed and I hope to return next year!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. This home is cozy, thoughtfully equipped, and a wonderfully easy house to stay in. Plus, Capital Reef National Park is down the road!

Dark Sky was perfect! We had 9 glorious days there and loved every minute. The home was clean and organized. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I appreciated having extra spices there for cooking as well as shampoo and soap. We loved sitting outside and looking at the mountains while enjoying a cold beverage after a long day of hiking. Would definitely go again.

We stayed in Liz’s house for a few weeks and can describe our experience in only superlative terms. The house is comfortable, spacious, and beautifully designed. The open-floor layout on the upper level is enhanced by large panoramic windows that look out on a spectacular landscape of ranch land and mountains. We never tired of the view, and the light that played across the sandstone hills. The cattle grazing in the field are an added treat. The surrounding ranch land has the feel of quiet remoteness, but all the amenities of town are just ten or fifteen minutes away. The house is perfectly situated to visit some of the most incredible canyon land in the American southwest. There are national and state parks in every direction. Liz is an excellent and gracious host. The house has everything one could need for either a short or a longer stay and Liz responded immediately when we had questions about the house. I cannot say too much positive about this house.

We loved our stay at Sandcreek Cottage in Torrey. Our family of four with two older kids (19 and 23), were visiting Capitol Reef as part of a larger Utah national parks trip. Mia's place was just what we needed - a cozy cottage that felt like home away from home. It snowed a little each night we were there, which made the nearby rock formations look even more stunning. A few of us walked around the neighborhood and took in the sites. Others relaxed by the wood stove and read or played games. And Capitol Reef was amazing in late November as well with a dusting of snow. On our last day here we also visited Goblin Valley State Park, which has very cool goblin hoodoos. We struggled a bit finding places to eat, but that was to be expected given that our trip was off season. In the end, we had a great dinner not far away at Rim Rock Patio. Sandcreek Cottage is a great place to get away from it all and it is super convenient for visiting Capitol Reef. Highly recommend!

This was my family’s second stay here and we’ve loved it so much both times! The house is lovely, peaceful and warm. Very thoughtful and responsive home and hosts! It is the perfect spot to explore the beautiful area- any time of the year! We hope to be back soon!

We had a great stay at this airbrb. The place looked just like the pictures and had everything we needed. The host was accommodating and answered all our questions.

Magical. This is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. The dome was beautiful and comfy. Well stocked kitchenette - everything I needed to cook simple meals - plus a BBQ. The most beautiful sunrises with views of Capitol Reef and surrounding red rocks. Minutes from incredible dog-friendly trails. Nate was friendly and helpful. He and his family have created a gem in Sand Creek Homestead. Several beautiful rental units, pigmy goats, ponies, turkeys, and a peacock. Friendly neighbor dogs, Dino and Frank, played great with my pup. I love it here.
