Excellent stay. Home was very clean, host provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and fire pits. Book this home- you will not regret it.

Staying at April's airbnb was so easy, relaxing and comfortable. The location is less than 10 minutes from the sweet town of Torrey - where you can find the Chuck Wagon store, which has everything you may need (even Epsom Salts after a long day hiking,) Only a 20 minute drive to the Capital Reef Visitor's Center. We LOVED staying for three nights - we were able to do many hikes in the NP. Great suggestions on restaurants - YUM on Capital Burger Food Truck, Broken Spur for a nice sit down restaurant, coffee at Wild Rabbit Cafe. We enjoyed an early (4PM) dinner at Hell's Backbone Grill after doing the "Loop the Fold" drive (Burr Trail etc)- beautiful hikes on trails we had all to ourselves. April's place has ample supplies which made us feel at home. I followed her directions on operating the sliding door key which then was a breeze. We would love to come back when we visit Capital Reef again!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. This home is cozy, thoughtfully equipped, and a wonderfully easy house to stay in. Plus, Capital Reef National Park is down the road!

Fabulous! Dark Sky House is everything we saw in the AirBnB photos, and more. This beautiful, comfortable, and fully stocked home exceeded our expectations. From the welcome book to the telescopes, to the Adirondack chairs on every side of the house for stargazing, we had everything we needed during our stay. The large windows provided amazing views of the dramatic surrounding landscape, the modern interior features added to the comfort of the home, as did many thoughtful extras Jenny and Steve thought to include. Located near the intersection of Routes 24 and 12, the location was perfect for exploring Scenic Route 12 and nearby parks during the day and the really, really dark skies at night. Jenny and Steve were a pleasure to work with, from the reservation process all the way through checkout, always quick to respond to any questions we had. Have already recommended Dark Sky House to friends who are planning a trip to the southwest next year. :)

Incredibly private mountain cabin with beautiful natural light. We went to Capitol Reef for the weekend and we would time our day so we would have extra time in the morning and evening because it was so pleasant. Amazing sunsets and stars!

We had a fabulous stay at the Cottage! The quaint house has lots of character and is in a beautiful rural setting with striking views. We loved sunset on the back deck and sunrises with coffee in the front. Mia was an excellent host and super responsive. We can’t wait to stay here next year!

Great house to explore Capitol Reef. We only stayed a night but many of us slept better than we had in weeks! So peaceful, quiet and dark! The house is tastefully decorated and well equipped, with high quality art, furniture and decor. Our only regret is not staying longer!

Simply exquisite! Perfect location and beautiful, peaceful surroundings for our week exploring Capitol Reef NP, Goblin Valley SP, and Scenic 12. There are views from every window and comfortable beds. The downstairs shower is luxurious. The internet was so fast when backing up over 1600 photos taken during the week to my Google photos. We enjoyed exploring the grounds, seeing bunnies and deer, and watching the cows in the nearby pasture. It's truly a million dollar view. I would highly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat!

This place was amazing, we absolutely loved Kristen’s touches for a perfect stay. The beds were very comfortable, the proximity to Capitol Reef was perfect and the views were unparalleled. We have already shared this listing with our friends and family for when they visit Capitol Reef!
