Vacation rentals in Frontenhausen

Marion's cottage is beautifully nestled in a great garden. The views of the chapel and the location just outside the village guarantee complete tranquility. The cottage is furnished with attention to detail and captivates with charm. We were there in autumn weather, hiked, made excursions and then enjoyed the fireplace with a book in the evening. Very relaxing!

This Airbnb and hosts - Dana, Mike, Lilly and Mogli (the cat!) are top of the line. The bedrooms with light blocking curtains and the peace and quiet of the location make this space a perfect place for quality sleep. Spotless! The books on art made for interesting reading or shall I say, flipping through the pages since we don't read German. The kitchen had everything we needed and more and after learning about the induction stove top, it was a breeze. It was easy to take the train into Munich and the station is just a short walk away as are shops and restaurants. The location was great to just hop on out on the highways (or small roads depending on where GPS took us!) and we did enjoy day trips to Innsbruck, Salzburg, Augsburg and Regensburg for Christmas markets. Mike gave us 2 recommendations for markets that weren't on our list and were special. Our last evening sharing Gluhwein was something to remember. Mike and Dana and their thoughtfulness make this place special.

There were five of us (2 adults and 3 kids) staying at the property for four nights. Close but since we were on the road a lot anyway, absolutely doable. The swimming pool was a highlight for the kids every night. The place is the perfect starpunk for the surrounding sights and getaways. We can only recommend the property.

We felt very comfortable. Caroline was very attentive when my husband had a medical problem and was always responsive. This was very valuable and we would like to thank you very much for that. We would love to come again anytime.

Our stay has been more than pleasant. I felt like home, having close contact with the host felt comfortable like we could ask for anything if needed. We stayed with two teenagers and dog for three nights in the "dream on the mountain". The apartment is on the ground floor, spacious, quite new as well as very modern and tastefully furnished. An absolutely quiet location on the edge of the forest with some views of the valley from the garden, let you arrive quickly on vacation. As a starting point for activities also in the south of the national park, Rabenstein is very suitable. Walking away from the house and shopping in the main town is more than necessary. The contact with the host was professional, very friendly and helpful. In fact, we would always use the apartment again.
