Lovely lodge. Spacious, well equiped and brilliant location overlooking lake and close to the beach.

We had such a wonderful time at Lammisa’s Airbnb as part of our annual Christmas trip. The property truly matched the description, was super clean, and felt extremely homely which is exactly what we were after. We were greeted with some lovely treats (which went down very well), and took the opportunity to explore places across the Lake District. There’s not much around the property locally in terms of shops and restaurants, but there’s so much to do if you’re willing to do some short drives (nice walking trails, Keswick, etc). If that’s not your thing, this place is just as good for days in - and we definitely made use of the hot tub. I’d say this was great for groups of friends/families. Thanks Lammisa for being so accommodating!

We enjoyed out stay at Sea View. The location is ideal for a great rest and relax from our usual busy lives. The house is comfortable with ample dining area and lounge. The main bedroom is compact. The kitchen offers ample area to prepare meals. We were pleased with the amenities available. We were grateful for good heat and heated towel rails. The neighbours are very friendly, kind and welcoming. Having the Post office across the road was a very special treat for last minute items. Would love to return.

It was a really good stay for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very helpful. I’d never used air bnb before. And arranged this last minute.

We only stopped early evening till 10am next morning so didn’t see surrounding area much or use all facilities. Used as stop off on way back from Scotland as reasonably easy from motorway. Instructions were good to find. Very well equipped kitchen by looks of it. Lounge comfy with log fire. Beds comfy and shower (in a bath) easy to use. Looks to have many local walks and is pet friendly, OS maps provided for info for those interested. Penelope recommended local pub so we booked ahead, very popular, they do takeaway which was great as one of us stayed behind at house with dog as he’s a bit nervous of busy places.

The cottage was lovely, super clean and tidy, everything you could need for your stay. Easy to communicate with host. Close to shops and town. Very Comfortable cottage , nice to have a little hamper of food left for us.

We loved staying here. The place is so spacious yet still cosy. It was the perfect Christmas escape. So close to Keswick and Carlisle. Hot tub views were superb. Honestly had the nicest time!
