Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Fremont County

We stayed three nights (9/16/24 - 9/19/24) at the Canon Rose Ranch house. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is in a good location to restaurants, grocery stores and Royal Gorge activities. The house was very clean, well decorated with lots of amenities and offered plenty of space for four people. We enjoyed the different indoor and outdoor spaces, the well appointed kitchen, large sofa and big screen tv. The hosts Tony and Riley were easy to work with. I recommend this house for anyone who wants a quiet, solid, southwestern house with plenty of space.

We had a wonderful time! As soon as we got there, we felt like at home. Tom was always very responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay!

The most amazing home with breathtaking views!! I would give this home an 20/10 if I could! If anyone has an opportunity to book this home, don’t think twice about it. It’ll be worth every penny spent. The BEST AIRBNB I’ve ever stayed in!!!

We’ve stayed here a few times, it’s so great to travel with our dog and have a nice clean crash pad! Plenty of space for a group and your pets.

This house was the perfect place for a family gathering — plenty of space, large kitchen, and a great living room. It was so close to downtown, so we could easily walk or bike to shops and restaurants — but it also felt peaceful. We stayed all week and enjoyed all of the local tips and recommendations from our host. Thank you, Kristi, for your hospitality! We hope to stay again!

Ryan and Mallory were great host, very responsive and accommodating. There home was as described, beautiful, clean and with easy access to hiking and historic downtown. I would highly recommend this gem of a home and its host!

Such a cool place! Beautiful mountain views. we even got some farm fresh eggs!! owners friend Camila is one of the coolest ladies u will ever meet! she brought us the eggs.

My family and I were traveling for a holiday getaway to get out of the city for a few days. Camila was awesome! She was quick in responding to the few questions we had before and during our stay and very helpful. A few minor annoyances, the bathroom light wasn’t working, the pool wasn’t running, and it was a little difficult to get to the RV the first time. But nothing that seriously affected the quality of our stay. My kiddos were in love with the chickens (Cinnamon Toast Queens, as they like to call them) as well as the adorable little pup Bullet. They had a fantastic time and didn’t want to leave. We also appreciated the gift of fresh eggs! Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you for making our holiday so fantastic!

Rachel was a great host. We had a small hiccup with check in and Rachel was quick to respond with instructions. She made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Camilla and Blaise are the consummate hosts and made me feel at home, as in mi casa es su casa. Great local recommendations and even took me to a genius hot springs. Overall, a camping experience out of the ordinary.

The views are absolutely breathtaking. I loved having coffee and watching the sun come up! The cabin was very roomy and had plenty of space for everyone. This is our second time coming and I’m sure we will be back.

wish I could keep this place to myself but if your looking to get away to a peaceful, beautiful, star filled night sky then you found it. I enjoy staying at off grid places and Jeff's cottages are absolutely perfect and the property is beautiful. Jeff is a great host. thanks again, WE WILL BE BACK!

My husband and I stayed at the Pond House for our first anniversary trip. Derek and Suzanne were responsive, friendly, and overall great hosts. The Pond House itself was spectacular. Small, but comfortable and clean, and if you're spending your time inside, you're doing it wrong. The surrounding area is secluded and private, offering 360 mountain views, peaceful mornings on the porch, and ample wildlife. The pond is beautiful, and immensely enjoyable with provided paddleboards and loungers on the dock. Public BLM land is accessible right off the property for hiking and exploring. Canon City was a quick, scenic 20 min drive away for great food. The absolute highlight of the trip was Tilly, our fetch-obsessed tour guide who hopped on our paddle boards and came along hiking. 10/10 would book again, could not recommend it enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The gorgeous views and quiet surroundings made the experience even better. Access was easy, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare a few meals. Plus, there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows provided. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Nice local spot close to the historic distric. Lots of local restaurants, live music, shops, etc.

We’ve stayed before so we knew we’d be taken care of. Just lovely and comfortable.

My dog, Tillie and I were craving some nature time. Anna & Ryan’s place was perfect. It was close to the Royal Gorge and Temple Canyon and I explored trails and scenery in both those beautiful places. Their place is spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I had a nice, restful sleep. I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sky as the sunset. It’s really beautiful there. Sunrise didn’t disappoint either. The alpacas ran to the fence every time they saw Tillie although she wasn’t quite sure about saying hello. It was a such a nice way to be welcomed. My only regret is my trip was too short! I found a few more trails to explore so I will be back! Thank you Anna and Ryan! Oh, also I enjoyed reading about the Navaho art and rugs that you have beautifully displayed. And the gnomes are quite cute!

Trevor’s home is one of our favorite Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! The beauty of the property is not fully captured in the listing photos… The surroundings are stunning! I was surprised that we had such amazing views of the mountains, and I was also surprised that the home is actually up on a bluff overlooking a river and not right beside the river. This just added to how pretty it was! The house itself was perfect for a few day stay for my husband, myself, and our five year old son. It has everything you could need. Plenty of kitchen tools for cooking. The bathrooms were fully stocked with soap and toilet paper, etc. The sheets and beds are so soft and comfortable. They really thought of everything! I also loved the hammock out front. We were also only about 8 minutes from downtown. Highly recommend staying here when in Cañon City!
