Vacation rentals with lake access in Franklin County

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

The house, location and hosts all exceeded our expectations. My family went skiing in Lake Placid over New Years and we stayed in Todd and Amy's house for a five day trip. The house is large, clean, comfortable for a large group and has a "cozy" feel to it. The hosts have spent a considerable amount of time (and money) adding little touches to the house that make guests feel at home. Other than your own food, the house has everything you need for a worry-free vacation. It has spectacular views and even full sized Ping Pong and Air Hockey tables. Saranac Lake is about 15 minutes from Lake Placid but it's very easy to get there. However, Saranac Lake has its own charm and we loved walking around the lake and exploring the town. Todd & Amy really care about their guests and couldn't have been more accommodating. Of course, everything was so good we really didn't need much. We would happily rent this house again.

Fantastic location. Very spacious place with a great layout. Views were amazing. Shawna was very responsive and helpful with everything.

The cabin was so lovely - and Anna and her husband very welcoming and responsive - even inviting us to a bonfire they were having further down the beach on our first night there. It was well stocked with towels and linens and kitchen tools - and lots of awesome coffee mugs. We spent many hours just sitting in the sun room/screen porch watching the sun reflect off the water and tracking the ducks and the heron that visited daily. Peaceful, relaxing - but close enough to hiking and lake Saranac and lake Placid - and to good food (you must try the Woodshed - amazing food and friendly service - sitting at the bar and chatting with the team there was so fun we went back and did it again for our anniversary dinner.) There is also a new mini-gold place right across the street - family owned and a silly but entertaining way to spend an hour. All in all - very happy to recommend this place!

Beautiful location and great family time. It’s an old place, but that was all part of the charm. We had 10 family members, so the 5 bedrooms and large dining table were much appreciated.

We had an amazing stay. Ample space for a group of 10 adults. The house is private and very serene. Will love to come back!

Great location for snowmobiling. Right across the street from trail. Very accomidating, and certainly convenient. Look forward to coming back.

Shelly gave us a very warm welcome with mouth watering brownies and candies. She is very quick in every responsive which I appreciate a lot. She also gave great recommendations to visit places nearby and the activities happening around. All here suggestions were worth it. Loved the experience of staying at her place, felt just like home.

We had a great time staying here on our weekend getaway to Lake Placid. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The location is great for accessing the downtown restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved Gary's place. Perfect location for us. We could walk to town, catch the shuttle for Oktoberfest and see friends staying nearby. Awesome place for the price! We'll be back!

We loved staying at 12 Harbor View! It was perfect for meeting up with our adult son for a family weekend. Easy walk to town for shopping and restaurants. It’s also wonderful for staying in with the cozy fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make meals in after hiking and sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I just spent one of the more enjoyable weeks in our long history of visits to the Adirondacks. Jerry and Linda’s log cabin on Middle Saranac Lake is, quite simply, a treasure. Awesome location right on shoreline. Very nice man (Dan) motored us across the lake. Rustic but very comfortable. Spectacular views. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Propane lighting throughout. Weber grill on porch. Two kayaks and one canoe included. Aluminum boat (also included) with electric start Honda was perfect. Lots of tiny islands nearby. Hot (very!) shower, flush toilet. Swimming right from dock. Sandy beach close by. Sunsets, sunrises, total peace and serenity. Just what we were hoping for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You will too! David and Debbie B

Exceptional in every way! Sparkling, clean, sumptuous linens, friendly host, and an unbeatable waterside location with privacy. Quiet, yet not too remote. Breakfast on the deck, showering under the trees, reading on the screen porch… We hope to return.

Jennifer's cabin was beautiful, we were right on the lake and enjoyed drinking our coffee in the morning on the covered deck looking out at the water. It was private and peaceful, just what we were looking for. It was a chilly weekend, but we enjoyed a fire in the beautiful fireplace outside. The cabin was clean and offered everything you would need for a week or weekend stay. Jennifer was very responsive and made sure we were all set for our stay.

this is a great Adirondack experience. we saw a porcupine and caught plenty of perch and fried them over the fire it was great! It is a great place for swimming and fishing. the children did a littleswimming but it was a littlecool for that in September. If you want a rustic experience without all the modern luxuries this is definitely for you.

Great lakeside location with beautiful daily sunsets. The lake and surroundings were quiet and the night skies were beautiful. Able to have camp fires at the lakeside as well. Comfortable accommodations and overall an enjoyable stay 😊

The setting is beautiful, great views from the house and deck. Lovely rustic cabin. Very clean and Jodi is extremely responsive.

The cottage was as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures! My family and I loved our stay and will surely come back in the future. Michelle was a great host, quick to respond and very accommodating. We enjoyed the canoes, kayaks and SUPs provided in the boat house. Great new memories made!
