Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Franklin County

Wonderful Peaceful , wooded location . House had all the amenities we needed . Appreciate the dog friendliness as well as the courtesy of the Host . Allowed later check out as we had a family member catching a later flight . Walkable to Main Street and Mirror Lake .

Beautiful home!! Great amenities. No television but we stayed busy with games which was fun! Hot tub was enjoyable and area was shoveled/cleared from snow when we arrived. Lots of space for a big family or for multiple families to stay comfortably, just make sure you out correct # of guests. Host I very responsive to messages and was accommodating. Will return if in area again!

We really enjoyed staying in Divya's home. It was clean, well kept, and really close to town. Divya was also very responsive and helpful when we reached out. Would definitely recommend!

A true GEM in the heart of the Adirondacks! We finally have found the treasure that truly fits our needs in the Lake Placid area. We are very close-knit family with members ranging from 3 years old to 68 years young! This home has everything in order to spend quality family time together. Superb kitchen, fabulous bedrooms, ample gathering space, plenty of game/puzzles, TV, fireplace and abundance of toys for the kids. The property was superb for enjoying the winter wonderland of snow! The kids spent hours sledding down the driveway, on the path to the lake and roasting smores at the fire pit. Ross had provided snow shoes for a wonderful hike along the trail across from the house. Once we arrived, we never had to leave the property as we had everything available to spend fabulous time with our children and grandchildren. Ross was extremely helpful and responsive with snow removal and BBQ propane. We are surely planning a return visit next winter. Thank you Ross for sharing your home!

This was the perfect cozy place to stay for a relaxing weekend get away. Everything was exactly as it is listed; easy check in, spotless, and had everything I could ask for.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Deb's Place for our weekend ski trip. Deb's Place is located in an ideal spot in Saranac Lake, very close to Main Street. The apartment is very well maintained and clean, and all the touches Deb has added to the apartment make the space cozy and warm. This is a perfect place to stay with ample space for two people, including a well-furnished kitchen, comfortable living room, and quality bedroom and bathroom. The fact that the apartment is on the back side of the owner's house is ideal; the location is private and quiet. Another strong feature of Deb's Place is the parking space; you always have a place to park your car without concern of moving your car or parking behind someone. My wife and I won't hesitate to stay at Deb's Place again.

Lindsey was such a gracious host! I booked this place kind of last minute as a weekend getaway with my boyfriend and parents. Lindsey answered my questions and accommodated my requests prior to booking. Overall, the apartment is a little smaller than the photos make it seem but it’s still cozy and comfy. 1 queen and 2 twins. Plenty of space and cookware in the kitchen. Plenty of parking. We were also pretty close to the Ice Palace (after the Carnival) and we chose to drive instead of walk. My biggest rave is the steps were a little icy and when Lindsey checked in on us I mentioned it in passing and she came right out to handle it. She cleared the steps, salted them, and left extra salt behind. This meant a lot to us because somebody in our party recently took an icy tumble at home and was still sore and limited with mobility. Overall I would definitely recommend Lindsey and her apt.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We booked a spot to go skiing at Whiteface & it was perfect. Only a 20 minute drive away from the mountain & there’s a ton of restaurants on the way. The place was clean & cozy. The parking is a little hidden so make sure to read the check in instructions prior. There are space heaters inside each room but be prepared for a breezy room. Pack thicker clothes while you’re staying. But great stay regardless!

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out were so easy. The apartment had everything we needed. We were able to walk so many places and it was a quick drive to everything we planned to do. We will definitely be back.

Great place for a weekend of skiing and playing in the snow!

This was the perfect apartment to accommodate our little family vacation. The apartment was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It was very cozy. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the house. It was very nice and peaceful. Christina was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and cozy. I like the vintage feel to it. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting in upstate New York. The next time I visit the area I’m absolutely booking here again. The fall foliage was definitely a plus. Huge thanks to Christina we really appreciate it.

Nice cozy cabin, enjoyed our short stay!

This was a perfect stay for a weekend getaway with my partner. We wanted a place just outside of Saranac Lake and this was the best option for us. The hosts were so amazing and gave great recommendations!

We had a fabulous time here. The property is secluded and very peaceful. It was just what we were looking for. The hosts were great and attended to every detail in decorating the interior. We especially liked that the house is off the grid and that the hosts are obviously into conservation, natural products and protecting the environment.

A nice little slice of heaven right on the lake! The hot tub and views of the ice castle were our favorite amenities! When you arrive there is a short walk down a steeper slope to get to the cabin, but it’s worth it for the private feeling you have once at the cabin. We absolutely already want to plan our return trip! Thank you Robert and Walt for a great experience

Second year in a row staying at Camp Casey. Perfect location for why we visit the adirondacks. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay with the feeling of being at home

Camp Timberock is a rare find. We chose the cabin because of the unlimited options for paddling and hiking. Despite the cold temperatures, we took advantage of the area and spent a lot of time exploring. One of my favorite parts of Timberock would be the deck with the outdoor fireplace. We also appreciated all of the supplies in the kitchen, the extra blankets and the endless supply of wood for the fire. Hope to return next year!

This space was perfect for our Adirondack getaway! Robert and Cheryl were amazing hosts who went above and beyond- meeting us at check-in, providing suggestions for things to do, and even provided snacks and breakfast items, which was much appreciated so I could skip a trip to the grocery store. The space was very clean and well stocked with necessities, including towels, extra bedding and blankets, and toiletry items. The decor was also well chosen, giving it a true Adirondack, mountain-vacation feel, which was the main reason we chose this space when looking at pictures- It's even better in person. We stayed in the winter so didn't use the outdoor grill or fire pit, but everything was provided in the pantry closet for that too! They really thought of everything and it truly felt like a home away from home. This will be a space that's hard to top, and will be out go-to when heading to Lake Placid again!
