Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

Stayed with John at Amongst the Trees mid Dec 2024. Great spot, very conveniently located with nice personal touches. My kids loved the rusks, chocolates, and juices – thanks so much! It was a pleasure being in an off-grid property during loadshedding and water outages. Highly recommend!

A delightful stay once again! Vals place is ideal for me. its beautifully furnished, and its equipped with an the bells and whistles. Its close to Rosebank, Sandton, Hyde Park etc. My preferred place to stay when I come for a visit to Jhb. Thanks again Val & Mike for a great stay.

I had an amazing stay at Martin’s place . The place had everything you need for a long term stay if you wanted. It was also very quiet and peaceful but with shops within walking distance. Martin was very helpful and attentive to anything I needed. Highly recommend and next time I need a place to stay in joburg I know where to go!

I loved it so much and Louise is very responsive. The chill area outside was just the best for me, you are able to braai, play soft music, have a drink and just enjoy the peace that comes with the environment. I am so happy I got to experience it and thank you so much to Louise for everything.

Lovely hosts who are very accommodating and considerate. In a beautiful location with the charming 4th street walking distance, lots of options for restaurants. Apartment was clean and exactly as advertised. Would definitely recommend this place and would happily book again.

I had several specific needs for my 5-week stay, and this place fit all of them. Large parking area and huge yard for the dog. He really loved it there and never wanted to leave. The cottage is almost completely open plan from the kitchen to the bathroom, with one room accessed from the outside (I didn't use this room because it was just me + Puppy). Simba, who is renting the house on the property, is a pleasure to have around. Great communication from the owners, who make you feel like you've known them forever.

Krisztina made us very welcome. She was on hand to show us around and had left some very thoughtful gifts for us. Both she and her husband and two boys went out of their way to make us feel at home offering their friendship and help at all times. The cottage is as described and is a very comfortable bolt hole in a very quiet area but near to the main roads for easy access to all areas of Johannesburg. You would not be disappointed if you booked a stay at Mulberry Cottage and Krisztina is most definitely a super host.

the room was great👍🏻 little bit small then i expected but was cleaned and it was like a picture, And the Netflix was available and the YouTube premium was available A few hours after checking in, I fell in love with this room🥰 The best thing is the communication with the hosts and they are always willing to help i enjoyed my stay i definitely visit again👍🏻

A lovely peaceful cottage in a beautiful area, safe and spacious

My partner and I had an amazing stay! Alex and Gideon were incredibly warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We also loved the delightful company of their two adorable and well-behaved dogs, Dexter and Bella—I especially looked forward to their cheerful morning greetings throughout the day! 😊 The space itself was impressively spacious and equipped with everything we needed, complemented by a stunning view of the Sandton city skyline. Alex and Gideon’s approachable and welcoming nature truly made our stay special. I wholeheartedly recommend staying with them! When I return to JHB, this will undoubtedly be my top choice.

Jill was warm and hospitable. The flat was exactly as advertised. Well situated, well equipped and excellent value for money.

This is exactly as the pictures look. There is everything that you would need in a home, from cutlery and crockery to fans, glass casseroles, and braai cutlery literally everything one would need, even for a 3 course dinner. Everything in that place is of high quality, even the towels and throws are soft and thick. It's a Cosy place that is perfect for a bachelor, couple or even a small family of four. it's modern and earthy with alot attention to details towards the feel of the home. the pool is cleaned every morning especially because it's rain season now. The outside area is fun and also has electricity plugs and a bar fridge. There were also family board games at the braai area. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. They are very quick to respond, always ready to help. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had an amazing time at Mariska & Zander’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Zander was super responsive and his instructions were clear and well explained. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beautifully decorated cottage in lovely location next to the park, coffee shop and shops. Spent a lovely Christmas there, had an amazing kitchen with everything you could need.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)
