Vacation rentals in Fountain

We came to the area for surgery at Mayo. We wanted a peaceful spot to hang out and recover, a big comfortable bed, and a yard for the dog. The downstairs has a king bed, carpeted floors, shower, laundry, a nice area with couches and tv. It was mostly quiet and peaceful downstairs. Our small dog loved being able to stay close to us. We barely used the first floor but it had two dining areas, a living room, two bedrooms, a full bath, and a nice small kitchen. This is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at an Airbnb. Jaymi has pretty much everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Please note the fenced in yard isn’t chain linked so pups like ours still needed to be walked, but there are plenty of sidewalks in the neighborhood. As a place that accepts pets, it was quite clean. There was a lint roller in the bedroom in case you needed it as well. The host was super responsive and thoughtful. This is a home I can see myself returning to again and again!

We celebrate a “memory weekend” with our kids, their spouses and grandkids once a year. It’s actually our Christmas gift to them instead of gifts. Anyway, when you have 14 people it’s not always easy. This place fit us perfectly. From the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms to the fully equipped kitchen, it met or exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of spaces to play games, watch movies on a huge screen, and just hang out and enjoy the beautiful sunset. It was easy to find and the pictures online were exactly what we got when we walked in the door. The hot tub was great even though we had to walk through some icy spots (winter in Wisconsin) to get there. It was nice to relax and let the heat and jets soothe our thoughts. The family is already talking about this as “our place” for future memory weekends. All in all, it’s fun, functional, and ready for your family.

The stay was just what we needed to gather family for Christmas. Very spacious, and great accommodations for families traveling with kids. Plan to utilize this space again in the future! Communication during the stay was great, but we did have to call the host the day of to get the code for check-in as we didn’t receive a message response. Not necessarily an issue but something to be aware - two of the bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom have skylights.

We just finished up a stay at Jans cabin, for 5 days of duck hunting. the place was as described, very comfortable, and the beds slept well after long days on the water. We will definitely be booking again for the next duck hunting trip.

Very cute little place with views from the door of the Mississippi River. It was a great base for our ice fishing expedition. A bait shop right down the road and many points to access the water with parking within minutes of driving. That being said it's a house on a hill. Don't bring your front wheel drive with bald tires then complain about the location. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay for outdoor adventures, this is the place.

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

We enjoyed our stay in Pepin. Charlie's cottage was close to everything we were interested in, was very quiet even though off the highway and we appreciated the accommodations.

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Jodi's place. Jodi is a delightful host with clear communication, fast response and was very flexible with our last minute reservation. I recommend anyone who is looking to visit LaCrosse WI to stay at Jodi's place. 100% satisfied. The home is clean, well organized, and well supplied for any person or family.
