Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fort William

Gorgeous house in a stunning area. We were using it as a base for some hill-walking and the house was super comfortable, with plenty of space for all our kit and damp clothes. All the bedrooms were equally nice. It was really handy for various hills and also - importantly - for the two days the weather was too bad to walk, it was a cosy and comfortable place to take refuge. Great to watch the weather howl around outside from such a warm dry sitting room!

What a fabulous house for our weekend in Aviemore in a great location. Beautiful furnishings, so well equipped and the hot tub was a real treat.

We had such a lovely stay at Fortrenn! The house and views were absolutely beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Duncan was a great host - sharing directions and instructions before our arrival. Would love to stay again in the future :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Locheil was so clean, comfortable and cosy! We felt so relaxed during our long weekend break. Our dog Izzy loved chilling in front of the wood burner. The location was perfect, only 10 min walk into the town but also lovely local walks nearby. Great base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Jane & Karen. Heathers place was absolutely perfect . We loved the wood burning stove which kept us cosy and the house was really homely . The seating in living room was comfy , the bed was comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped and there was a very generous welcome pack which was a really lovely touch. We could not fault anything at all . We will definitely be back.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay in The Croft and can’t wait to return.

We were only able to stay one night, but we were greeted with a tin of homemade shortbread that was such a welcome treat, after a long day on the road.

We had a wonderful time. The house and grounds were beautiful! The view was AMAZING! Helen and Mike were very quick to respond and very helpful. We were greeted with fresh garden flowers, milk, butter, coffee, tea and biscuits. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home! Would absolutely recommend this place!

After traveling for two months, we chose to spend our last week at Andrew’s place in Fort William. The apartment was a wonderful place to relax before heading home. We especially loved the fireplace, full kitchen, and spacious bedroom. The location is perfect. We were able to walk most places and if not, a short drive would get us where we needed to be. We didn’t use the car much so if you’re on foot, this location can still work for you. Highly recommend!

Iona's place was amazing! The apartment it's self is very private and has everything one would need, but is also in a fantastic location for touring Cairngorms National Park and the cute towns with it. There were several little touches in the apartment that made me feel extra welcomed, along with super clear instructions to help make travels very easy. I highly recommend!

Don't really want to tell everyone how nice it was incase she puts the price up, and we will be back as we enjoyed it so much it was really close to the friends that we visited in Inverkip and they came and visited on one occasion and were impressed themselves.

The apartment was in an fantastic location, close to Inverness’ main highlights, River Ness, shopping - food store and restaurants. Everything in the apartment was clean and comfortable. An excellent B and B.

We loved our stay in this very comfy, clean flat. It had everything we needed. Kenny and partner were great hosts and showed us around, gave us instructions on how things worked and also gave us some very excellent recommendations for places to go, places to eat etc which was very much appreciated. The flat is in a good area, a short walk from the centre. The furnishings are excellent, very quirky and made the flat feel warm, cosy and very relaxing. We looked forward to coming back to flat after a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen is compact but again had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of drawers, hanging spaces and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. We loved the hidden bookcase. We were sad to leave our little holiday flat and would highly recommend it to anyone. we would definitely book again when we return to Glasgow.

The station master apartment has been our favourite stay on this trip and previous ones. You can clearly see the work that has gone into restoring this old building. It is super comfy well equipped home from home. Clean, warm and welcoming. Lin and Rupert are welcoming and the little touches of some homemade jam and local ales were really nice. We loved the location. Rolling hills, deer, sheep, stunning night sky (on a couple of nights) and not forgetting the twice daily trains. Would 100% recommend and would love to return

Kristin was a fantastic host - really understood our needs when travelling with our baby & toddler, super responsive and great at communicating. Our baby loved the high chair - "just" an ikea one with the tray, but so handy to have this! We'll likely be back next month and will be crossing our fingers Kirstin's place is available then!

For 5 years we have been coming to this fantastic facility it ticks all the boxes. Great Location Private loch loads of space great accommodation. very warm and homely 5 star

We had a lovely stay at this Inverness townhome. The place was spotless, and Marie was proactive in making sure everything was comfortable with our stay.

Helen and Michaels place had everthing you could possibly need. The views from Camden House were so pretty, the house is very well equipped. We had a great stay, and we are already looking to book again soon.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The location is superb, down a beautiful road with jaw-dropping views. The house is incredibly clean and very comfortable. We had 5 travelers and each of us had our own room and bathroom - such a treat. Jonathan is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Very nice house, a short walk to the waterfront but not too close to be in amongst the visitors. Quite and very handy for the Wester Ross walks and climbs. Safe garden that our dog could roam around freely. House was clean and well equipped. We had fabulous weather but it would also have worked in more traditional/wet weather with plenty of space for outdoor kit.

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.. Ellangoran was a dream, just like the pictures. Beautiful, warm house with very comfy beds and everything else we needed, Robin was so thoughtful, kind and very communicative. Location was perfect, just a short, very picturesque walk to Loch Ness and restaurants, gift shops and the convenience store. There was so much to explore right there. Loved the little wooded area across the road that led to Loch Ness also, straight out of a fairytale. The only thing I would’ve changed was the length of my stay! Will definitely return when I can, best part of my trip.. thanks so much Robin!

Beautiful house with high quality furnishings. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all well maintained and modern. Beds are very comfortable. Host was brilliant and very helpful before the stay as well as providing a lovely welcome hamper and ice for us. The hot tub was a brilliant addition and was well enjoyed. Overall just a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!
