Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fort William

We had a really peaceful and quiet Christmas here with two of our adult children who were visiting from the USA. The place was exactly as described, the rooms were clean and warm, bathrooms work great and the whole house was lovely and warm with plenty of hot water. Super location, lovely property, great hosts. Everything you could need.

Whole family enjoyed our stay in Kirn. Considering the age group varied from 2.5 years to 73yrs. House was lovely & warm & games room was perfect for evenings with 📺 & pool table keeping us all (10) entertained. Kitchen was a great size for the amount of bodies floating around & the amount of food being consumed. All in all a great place for our long weekend. Thanks, George Ashton

From the moment we arrived we knew we’d booked the right house for our family get together, it was perfect with a lovely enclosed garden making it safe for dogs and our granddaughter. It was in our very favourite part of Aviemore and we loved everything about our stay. Sarah was super helpful and always responded to any questions I had. We’d totally recommend The Squirrels and would love to stay again.

Amazing property. Not only does this have one of the most beautiful views we have ever been to, but the interior architecture is beautiful and you instantly feel at ease as soon as you walk into the property. Duncan was extremely accommodating and was very helpful throughout our stay. This is certainly now the place we would go for an escape and digital detox! Thanks so much. ☺️

We arrived at the property with a welcoming fire all set and ready to go and cosy spotless beds - very welcome after a long day. Aviemore is such a great place to visit, would recommend!

We loved our visit, felt immediately at home in the house with everything we needed to hand. The list of things to do locally or cycles and walks to take was a brilliant addition. Rooms were spotless and the whole home was cosy and comfortable. We took a couple cycles right from the door, including a circular route with the kids (6 and 8) and a few walks too which is fab when you just feel like staying local. Street was nice and quiet which is a bonus. Gillian was incredible helpful in advance to when I had any questions. Thank you!

Highly recommend Alice’s cottage. It was the perfect stay for us - within east reach of Glencoe ski centre and all of the local walks and trails. Absolutely spotlessly clean and everything you could hope for in a holiday home (plenty of wine glasses too!). I’d stay here again as it was perfect for us and our young family, and highly recommend you stay here too.

Wee House is a great place to stay, well equipped, very cosy especially with the log burner (logs and kindling all supplied), and a comfy king-size bed. A number of books, maps, walk suggestions were all in the house. Heather has included so many little extras and excellent instructions for everything, and the 'goodies' in the kitchen and fridge were very much welcomed. We arrived late at night and in not great weather, and Heather had gone before us to unlock the property so we wouldn't have to fumble in the dark and sleet for the key box. Very much appreciated. Even though this was January, there was a lot to do in the area although not enough snow for skiing... but not Heather's fault!!! Some great walks, even in the snow, lovely eating places.. Cairngorm Hotel did a very tasty Burns meal. All in all a great stay that we wished could have been longer.

Really enjoyed my 2 night work stay in Mary's homely apartment. It's very spacious and has every gadget you could ever need I think! Everything was spotless clean. I loved the Belfast sink and the giant bath. Comfortable bed. Warm and private apartment and the apartment builds and neighbourhood was totally silent overnight which made for a great sleep. I highly recommend Marys place. 👌

We had a wonderful time. The house and grounds were beautiful! The view was AMAZING! Helen and Mike were very quick to respond and very helpful. We were greeted with fresh garden flowers, milk, butter, coffee, tea and biscuits. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home! Would absolutely recommend this place!

Absolutely love staying here. It was immaculate comfortable and in the perfect location close to the town and shops and within driving distance to all the great out door activities. Andrew left clear instructions and everything was spotless. Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautifully quirky property set in a equally stunning location,a perfect couple of days a away from start to finish.The apartment was lovely,had everything needed with loads of lovely detail and we were really blown away by the attention to detail.We were very relaxed the whole time,slept very well and didnt want to go home!We will be back again soon!

Just returned from my second stay at Gosia's flat. I love staying here! It's perfectly described and shown in the listing but even better when you're there in person. It has everything: parking, laundry, a full kitchen, an amazing bathroom, washer & dryer - I could go on and on here. The location - for me - is ideal in that it's close enough to walk to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. The Tesco literally in the backyard is a major bonus! Gosia was super flexible with letting us check in and drop our bags early and reached out in advance of our check out time to let us know we didn't have to hurry out if we wanted to stay a little later. That was very much appreciated! I wouldn't hesitate to rebook - and likely will for later this year - & will always refer anyone and everyone to this wonderful apartment in Inverness.

A wonderful quiet cottage nestled in the quiet glen near Balquidder but only minutes from the main A84 road. The place was spacious, cozy and comfortable and the host was amazing

this was our second time staying at Ardvuilin and we had a brilliant time. As a group of 7 adults and 7 kids (ages 5-8) we find the house ideal with so much to keep the kids busy. The kitchen is really well equipped and the surrounding area is stunning. our only slight issue was that the woodwork in our room had recently been painted and was giving off very strong fumes but other than that everything was great.

Great house, lots of space and in a nice area of Inverness. Lovely to have extra bits like the soaps, toilet paper, towels, tea coffee, nibbles and a welcome bottle was much appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at this Inverness townhome. The place was spotless, and Marie was proactive in making sure everything was comfortable with our stay.

What an amazing house this is, perfect for family / friends gathering. The house itself was spotless when we checked in. The check in itself was nice and easy with its self check in lockbox code. Helen and Michael were great help with anything that you needed. All the games were great fun and hot tub is an added bonus. Throughly enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a weekend or week away in this outstanding home. Cheers x

We have just returned home after a week’s stay over Christmas with friends and family. The home and location were both stunning and exactly as described, the home exceeded what we were expecting, so clean throughout and the host Jonathan went out of his way to make the home and ourselves as comfortable as possible. The welcome package was perfect to arrive to after a long drive and very thoughtful. Jonathan was very to easy to communicate with, prior to and throughout our stay, put a few Xmas decorations around the home to make it that extra bit special and recommended some great places in the area to visit. Would deffo recommend and stay again. This is most definitely a home of convenience, we made some great memories and didn’t want to leave. You have a real gem of a place Jonathan.

Very nice house, a short walk to the waterfront but not too close to be in amongst the visitors. Quite and very handy for the Wester Ross walks and climbs. Safe garden that our dog could roam around freely. House was clean and well equipped. We had fabulous weather but it would also have worked in more traditional/wet weather with plenty of space for outdoor kit.

We loved our stay here. Robin was a super gracious host and the house was absolutely perfect. So well provisioned and probably the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in, which was greatly appreciated. Only wish we had a few more days so that we could have spent more downtime relaxing at the house because it is such a pleasant place to be! We only had a couple days in the area, so were out and about exploring most of the time. And it's a great location for that....our party ranged from 4 years old to 70+, and we found plenty of things to do within a 1.5 hour driving radius that everyone enjoyed, even in the middle of winter.

We had a lovely stay, house is perfect, hot tub was ready for our use and someone came on second day to ensure it was clean and filled up. Clean bed linen, towels and towels provided for hot tub too. Would definitely recommend
