This house felt full of love the moment we walked in and we felt at home instantly. The decor is personal and fun, the host responds quickly, the amenities are perfect. This is honestly the best air bnb stay we have ever had!

Such a lovely place to stay in Marfa. It was in walking distance to absolutely everything. It was also spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend booking this spot if it’s available.

This place felt welcoming, relaxing, and the beds were great. The activities provided by the house were also great, considering when you are in Marfa sometimes choices for going out are extremely limited. 4 bikes provided! We loved it and will return when our kids are a bit older and we can all ride together

When we travel, we have to have a full kitchen due to dietary restrictions---it's nearly impossible for us to eat at restaurants, so I was excited to have a full kitchen! Sometimes you can only get a full kitchen in a larger place, and it's just the 2 of us, so that was a plus. We enjoyed sitting outside in the private courtyard, and enjoyed a glass of wine by the firepit and watching the stars come out. The house is conveniently located, so easy to find, and easy to get back to after exploring! Alpine was the perfect hub for us, allowing us to explore Ft. Davis, Marfa, and Big Bend over our 3 days there. Also, the temperature ranged from about 32 to almost 85 while we were there, but we were able to keep the house comfortable. Fluffy towels, plush resort style robes, and good beds made for a great stay. And the chilled beer mugs in the freezer were a lovely surprise! We'd stay again!

April was wonderful & helpful when asking about Alpine. Had a great time. Place was comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. It was close to downtown. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit.

Great spot! The location was great - very quiet and peaceful. The unit was very nicely furnished, with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom. It was very walkable to downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

Came to Marfa with a group of friends for a wedding and had a wonderful stay here! Each room was clean and exactly as described. We didn't do much cooking but enjoyed being able to make coffee. Some of us arrived in Marfa earlier than expected and management was able to let us check in a couple hours early, which we really appreciated. If we're back in town, would definitely stay here again!

Sits on dead end street, limiting traffic. Close enough to downtown to walk. Javelina, mule deer, & coyotes visible from front entrance.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We stayed 3 nights. It was a good location with beautiful scenery. There is a train track 75 ft from the residence but there were not that many trains that came through, 1 or 2 per day but they were short and quite and usually there were not any after 8pm with the exception of one night. Jill was very thoughtful and texted helpful information on the app. There were lots of wildlife in the area with endangered scale quail within walking distance from the residence. Would stay again.

Great location. Very clean. Really quiet at night. Some of the upgrades that make this place stand out are: real plants, touch lights in the bedrooms that have two outlets and two USB ports, nice luggage racks that include shoe racks. Parking isn’t an issue. There is nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. It even had an ice cream scoop. Responsive host. Great stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed in entire lodge with another family. Everyone loved ii! Plenty of space, very clean, and the outdoor areas were great. The kids loved playing pickleball and the location can’t be beat. Highly recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Shy~ so so fun and whimsical! The host was very responsive and left clear instructions so we knew what was expected of us! We loved it! And if we need a place to stay in Marfa again, Casa Shy will be our first choice!

Have been wanting to make the trip to Marfa for over a decade, and finally did it. The Level 2 EV charger on site was a real plus for me, and before we arrived Kathryn was able to confirm that the charger was working, which really put me at ease. Everything was exactly like the pictures and having great local dining like the Water Stop and Bordo close by was a HUGE plus!

Our stay exceeded expectations. This was one of the few times I've stayed at an Airbnb where the home looks better than it does in the pictures. I also read in one of the reviews that the yard is a "blemish" on the property - this is wrong. The yard is no different from any other yard in Marfa. It's big and fully fenced in, and our dog loved roaming around. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for four nights. The living room was cozy enough for midday naps, and the dining table was big enough for us both to spread out two different workstations and still have room for meals. The sheets on the bed were so comfy that I looked for the brand so I could buy some lol. I have nothing but good things to say - I would/will come back.

Very quiet and peaceful location. I would love to stay from March -May.
