Beautiful home, well appointed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the welcome homemade chocolate chip cookies!

The posted description accurately describes the Carrage House Cottage (CHC). The first thing we experienced was the spaciouness of the cottage and uncluttered furnishings. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare full and light meals. The CHC is located high on a hill between downtown and the college. There is ample off-street parking and the neighborhood seems secure and is quiet for peaceful sleep. We recommend taking a flashlight with you if you walk downtown (about 0.3 miles) at night. Being on a hill the walk downtown includes sidewalk steps that are sometimes not uniform and difficult to see. Outstanding hiking trails are nearby and the CHC provides a comfortable place to rest after exploring the Gila Forest. Dogs are welcome! We will ask to return later this year to continue our exploration of the area. Thank you.

Absolute serenity -- Sandy's guest house is immaculately maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and adorned with a beautiful garden full of birds of all varieties. The views are truly epic: New Mexico's high desert mountains both near and far, Bear Creek right outside the backdoor, and unmatched dark sky stargazing with the Milky Way and stars stretching from horizon to horizon. What can beat taking in this scenery while also sitting in a hot tub taking it all in? Sandy also provides fresh baked bread and organic coffee and other breakfast items that get each day started on the right foot. Sandy is also highly responsive and available for any questions, and cheerfully provides great advice on local hikes/activities/restaurants. Local hiking opportunities are also top-notch and offer a variety of options, including summiting 9000 ft peaks, canyon hikes through multicolored towering rocks, and naturally occurring hot springs. We will be back!

We love this place. It is our third consecutive year visiting Wren's casita. What else can be said?

Excellent choice! Cute cottage with all the necessary amenities for three night stay hiking in the area. Great value. Comfortable beds. Just the right size for two adults to relax and rewind after hiking. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Everything in kitchen to cook meals too. Host was very responsive to questions.

Rachel's place was perfect for us - location in a quiet neighborhood, close to the historic part of town and Boston Hill. The house was spotless with attractive decor and landscaping. Covered deck allowed morning and evening time listening to and watching birds and quails in the yard. Rachel was helpful and responsive to any questions if/when needed. Definitely a pleasant and stay and we hope to return later in the year.

The gas fireplace was lovely as the weather was chilly. We liked accessibility of extra covers. The neighborhood is distinctive and quiet. We recommend the Cozy Cottage!

Four of us (two couples) stayed at Polly's place and it worked out great. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twins. The bedrooms are separated by a door only so if someone is really sensitive to sound, this could be a small problem, as sounds from one room could be heard in the other. However, it was not really a problem for our group. We enjoyed sitting around the dining room table and reading/watching TV in the very comfortable living room/sitting area. Th e house and yard are surprisingly private and spacious. It should be noted that parking is on the street and there are 4 or 5 steps down to the level where the entry patio is. The kitchen was very well equipped - more so than many airbnbs. And the water pressure was great! Thank you Polly!

This getaway just out of town has just enough aesthetic artistic touches to make one feel at home as views of the mountains from the dining room will put your mind at ease. If you need to relax, this is the place.
