I had a lovely stay here. As soon as I entered the apartment, I was greeted with an open plan spotless kitchen and cosy lounge area! The bedroom was very well presented and the bed was extremely comfortable! I would definitely stay here again. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Bolthole for our wedding anniversary. The accommodation was very homely and comfortable, we could not have asked for more. It was like home from home. The location is just perfect for the high street where you can find lovely pubs and restaurants. We had a superb Sunday lunch at the Lygon Arms Grill restaurant. Claire, our host left lovely welcome pack and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I cannot recommend the Bolthole enough. Lovely and clean and just perfect. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful little annex. Perfect spot in bath for two people. Walking distance from the centre. Our dog loved it too! Very grateful to Jette for all the local information and all the helpful amenities in the flat. Would love to return some day.

We had a wonderful time at Nicky’s place for New Years. The flat had everything we could possibly need, and more, and we felt spoiled. The kitchen was fully stocked, we had plenty of towels and blankets and the fridge even had some milk in for our arrival. Nicky was helpful, responsive and provided clear instructions for us to find the place amidst temporary road works, and everything went very smoothly. Would thoroughly recommend this stay. Ideal location for Newport city centre. Home from home which had everything we needed including the little touches like shampoos conditioner and shower jels. Easy to find, free parking and host was very quick at responding. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's property and she was a fantastic host! The photos and description were accurate, her instructions were clear so check in was so easy and smooth. The property is stunning and spacious. Parking was just a few metres down the road too, so perfect. We booked a beautiful Italian restaurant for dinner, which was literally around the corner, as were other restaurants. Weather wasn't great the next day so we couldn't explore much, but we will definitely be back to this lovely town and will hopefully stay again. Thank you Sarah xx

Kates place really comfortable and very cosy we really enjoyed our stay the bus stop is a short walk to get the Bus in to the centre ,great muffins provided by Kate along with milk bread juice butter and Jam and parking provided at the Kates place,10 out 10 for such a great little place the Vilo Cafe lounge had amazing food.

My Parents stayed at Dawn and Steven's place for a rugby game at the stadium and they came home raving about the place! This trip was on my dad's bucket list and I cannot thank Dawn and steven enough for how special they made if for them - from their kindness and advice for getting around Cardiff, to the wonderful space and amenities, my parents couldn't find a single fault except that their stay was too short and that they'll have to go again for a long weekend sometime! Thank you Dawn and Steven, my parents had a truly wonderful time♡

We had a brilliant stay at the apartment meeting up with family for a multi-generational 60th birthday. Wonderful location overlooking a very private and peaceful lake with super sunsets. Jane's directions were perfect and was a very responsive host. Apartment was immaculate and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need! Thank you Jane.

Ros and Hugh were great hosts. A very warm welcome and clear explanations on all utilities in the flat and insight into the surrounding area. This friendly couple were unintrusive but reassuring to know they were available in their cottage right next to our flat had we needed help with anything. The flat was compact but well designed with all the amenities required for a cosy stay. The village itself is the quintessential image we'd hoped for an idyllic rural setting. We had a very nice stay and excellent value for money.
