- 3 Nights are not enough in Teresa’s lovely villa. - Perfect views that is ever changing - Watched the fireworks near the beach below on Friday evening. - Wow! What a kitchen! - Supermarket al the Grand Hotel will satisfy your needs for water, fruits and vegetables and many other items. - Dined one night at Ristorante Portivene" and bought cornetto from Inamorata di Voi! every day. - Clothes washing machine works well! - Took a boat to Riomaggiore and walked the Via dell’amore from there to Manarola and took the boat back to Porto Venere. If you do more villages, a day pass is $41 per person for the boat. The walk costs $18€ per person. - If you don’t have a car, when leaving Porto Venere, you can roll downhill with luggage to the Bus Stop at the Grand Hotel. 1.50€ Per ticket. Select “Suburban” option at the ticket machine. However, the bus dropped us off almost 0.4 miles from the La Spezia station. It was not an easy walk. - Thank you Teresa for a memorable vacation stay.

As a family of 4, we had a perfect stay at La Lucertola. Luisa and Colin were friendly, attentive and helpful from the minute we arrived to when we left. They were available on the phone throughout, if needed. The music studio was an incredible addition - we felt very lucky to have access to it throughout our stay. The accommodation is located up a narrow track, but this meant we had access to stunning views and wildlife all around. Although the pool was cold, due to the time of year we visited, it didn’t stop us using it a couple of times. The pool is perfectly located - overlooking Pisa. There was plenty of seating around the pool and, although other families were staying in the house next door, it didn’t once feel like we couldn’t use any of the facilities. Other great facilities worth mentioning - the pizza oven is such an experience - to make pizzas overlooking the tower of Pisa, in Italy, was incredible. We also had all the cleaning items and linen we needed too. Grazie.

We (7 girlfriends) enjoyed the stay in the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She has sent us a lot of tips about the area (also the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed anything, there was a very quick response. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings beautiful. Parking has enough. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

This holiday home has exceeded our expectations! The location is truly beautiful, with a breathtaking view. What also stood out to us was the cleanliness of the house. Everything was sparkling clean on arrival, from the kitchen to the bedroom and bathroom. It immediately made us feel comfortable, which made us feel right at home. And honestly: the view and atmosphere are even more beautiful than on the pictures! We were really positively surprised when we arrived. Thr communication began as soon as I made my booking so I felt very comfortable especially as an older solo female traveller. I loved staying far enough from the tourist area yet everywhere was a comfortable walking distance. I was here to write so the space was perfect for me and very quiet. The space was very clean and I enjoyed using the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable- highly recommend especially for a single person. Great eateries close by & I felt very safe. Thankyou

We have just spent the most fabulous three weeks at “La Limonaia”. Christian is a really fantastic host, very responsive but also discreet and the apartment is easily one of the best equipped Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Really comfortable beds and quality furnishings, the place has been beautifully and very recently renovated. Absolutely nothing was missing and with two young children it was great to have a full kitchen with everything we needed for cooking as well as plenty of towels, bed linen etc - it really felt like home and we were very sad to leave. The location is super, just a short bus/ car ride from Porta Romana and equally convenient for getting out of the city for day trips. The children really loved walking around the garden and made good friends with Christian, they especially enjoyed the homemade lemonade which we made together using fresh lemons from the garden. Highly recommended Airbnb and we hope to visit again soon. Thank You again.

Aurora was a very responsive host and accommodated any needs we had. Place was as listed. About 30 min to downtown by bus. Be aware of the last bus back to the air bnb as we missed it and had to buy a taxi back. Overall a good place to stay if you want a peaceful stay outside of the city.
