They were built at the beginning of the 20th century as stables for the Quadruped Breeding Center and completely renovated and transformed into rustic apartments (Scuderia) in 1999, leaving the original architectural features intact. In 2003 the renovation was completed by completely rebuilding the barn and transforming it into comfortable two-room apartments (Fienile).
