Villa vacation rentals in Floresta

This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

This villa is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, light, and flow of the space. It’s full of natural light, with a spacious layout and thoughtful interior touches that make it feel both luxurious and homey. Every room felt intentional and serene, and having plenty of bathrooms made our stay super comfortable. The yard was a dream in itself with plenty of space for yoga, breakfast on the patio, swimming, and more. Truly, we all felt like princesses in a fairytale. Paul was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and full of local recommendations that made our trip even better. He even let us store our bikes in the garage, which was so appreciated. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly, highly recommended.

Martina is a great host who hosted us very warmly. The house was clean and tidy, Martina was attentive to all our requests and was very available and efficient. The house is traditional and cozy, there is a lovely terrace with a great view. I would definitely recommend it. You just have to remember to have a car because the house is on the heights, or have the ability to climb steep enough stairs for about 10 minutes. However, the stairs lead directly to the city center.

We enjoyed staying at Alessandra's holiday home during a very warm few days in early September. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very much appreciated. The house is on a very busy road but once you have negotiated the gates there is no road noise at all as the house is set well back from the road. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens and has a fabulous swimming pool which we used daily and was just the job after a hot day sight-seeing in the locality. We were very comfortable in the house which had everything we needed for 4 adults.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

We spent two nights at Tatiana and Giancarlo's place. The place has everything you need and Tatiana was incredibly helpful. We were also sent a brochure with helpful information about the place and what Tatiana could help with. The place is 5 to 10 minutes walking a lot of stairs up to the city center and the gondola of Mazzaro and the villa itself is sheltered from the noise of the city. There is also a great pool area on the property that you can use if desired. Everything was clean and the apartment appeared very exclusive in the furnishings and decor. There is good and sheltered parking at the property. We recommend the place and had a wonderful stay.

The villa is located in an exclusive gated community, i.e. access with roller shutter. The surroundings are correspondingly exclusive and quiet. Very large living area with the perfect view of Catania and Mount Etna. You will love coming "home" to this dream location after the excursions. The counter with high chairs on the terrace is perfect! Kitchen is complete and we liked cooking something. Hosts are personally on site and take care of the guests.

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

Incredible hospitality and view! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and our 8 month old baby girl was made to be so comfortable. A great jumping off point for exploring and even better for days spent lounging by the pool. Thank you so much!

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

We had a really nice time at the villa. Flara 😊Roberta was very kind, the villa is impeccably maintained and is equipped with every comfort. We brought our little dog on vacation with us, the house is totally fenced and there is no danger of the dog running away. We'll definitely be back, thanks again. Thanks again Chiara and Salvo

Everything was perfect. Emanuele is very responsive and accommodating. The villa is amazing, great location, great view, very well equipped (swimming pool, barbecue, parking space etc.). We were a group of 14 and had a great time. I highly recommend it!

This house was one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. We went for a week and a half on a family trip, and it could not have been more incredible. Somehow, the grounds are even more lush and beautiful and spacious than the photos make them look. Incredible views of Mt. Etna and innumerable spots for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Our manager of the property was more like a concierge. Gianluca was more welcoming and helpful than anyone I've encountered in years renting Airbnb places. We will surely be back and can't recommend it highly enough for anyone checking it out!

I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

This is wonderful property with a spectacular view. The Pool is superb and gardens beautifully maintained. We didn’t mind the stairs up to the entrance but I can understand this might bother some people. Well appointed kitchen and plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy the view.

We stayed here as a family for a week. The place is very nice and well maintained. In particular, the large garden where you always have the choice between sun and shade is great. The accommodation itself has everything you need including coffee and breakfast snacks. By car, supermarkets and restaurants are quickly accessible and the old town of Syracuse is only 15 minutes away. Silvia is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the tranquility.

We spent a week at the apartment and loved every moment of it. The location is amazing, peaceful with a breathtaking view of the sea and Mount Etna. The apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated and every detail is taken care of (from hairdryer and hair straightener, to olive oil and spices for cooking, as well as coffee and a bottle of local wine as a welcome gift). Marianna and her family truly care about the wellbeing of their guests and are very welcoming of kids. Marianna provided us with plenty of great suggestions on places to visit, restaurants to check out and practical advice that was always spot on. We would love to go back.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

A beautiful villa with old-world charm yet modern feeling. Amazing views of both the ocean and Etna. Well maintained gardens and grounds, with a lovely pool and sitting area. Pino and Viviana were always quick to respond and helpful. Truly a special place

Guiseppe was probably the best host we have ever been to . He is super friendly , flexible and gave us priceless recommendations for the surroundings and local restaurants. He even send us the perfect parking spots for sightseeing!!! His enchanting Mum was living next door, which was a plus for quick questions. Highly recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ambra. As others have mentioned in previous reviews, the place looks better than in the pictures. It was clean and had a very nice outdoor area with a pool, sunbeds, dining area, grill and table tennis. We had to check in very late, but that was no problem which was very nice. We would also like to recommend the taxi driver Carmelo and his son Luca, recommended by the host of the villa (his card is in the villa). Carmelo was like our private guide every time we needed to go somewhere and told us a lot about the history of Naxos, Taormina and Castelmola. On the final day he took us to Siracusa for a day trip, which we highly recommend!

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

A very nice house with a heavenly garden in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gaggi. Giovanni is a very nice host and also speaks good English. The kitchen is simple but functional. The beds were good (the subject of duvets in Italy is a thing in itself, only one large duvet for two, practically just a sheet with a woolen blanket over it, I will never understand it, but that's the way it is everywhere...) and the pool, of course. The terrace on the upper floor offers a wonderful view over the surroundings and Mount Etna. Unfortunately, only the dogs in the area were very loud at night. But Giovanni can't do anything about it.
