The house has a fantastic location, right on the sea. We were able to watch the orcas from the living room and marvel at the northern lights in the private hot tub. Espen and his sons were always easily accessible and helped with problems right away. We also did a kayak tour, the exchange was very friendly.

This is such a special house with an unbelievably beautiful background! For starters, the house itself is huge and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and top-notch appliances. The island itself is stunning, and even without a car there’s plenty to do outside, or you can just sit and enjoy the views for hours. Rune was always very responsive and provided lots of great local tips. Would recommend to anyone who wants this unique and peaceful experience. I hope to return one day!

beautiful place on a quiet but lovely island. lovely, spacious and comfortable home. Completely renovated with a nice large kitchen, comfy beds warm fire place and nice shower. We stayed in mid winter (1st week of January) with lots of snow and norther lights. Close to Skjervoy and perfect for making memories and having a real Norway winter experience. We had a honeymoon we'll never forget!! The communication with May Liss is very good and she was very helpfull with tips. We would really recommendstaying at villa Oddtun!

It would have helped to have a kettle to boil water for hot drinks rather than use a pan

This place is a little piece of heaven. Between the two beaches, the view from each window is a wonder. The inside of the house is tastefully decorated and everything is perfectly designed. Extreme sweetness and sensitivity felt here Swim in the Arctic and enjoy the Sauna as you follow. Visit Vardo and walk along the road to Hamingberg Stay peacefully on the terrace and watch the moon rise Walk on the EkkeroyPeninsula and wonder in front of so many birds Picking cloudberries Warm up at the corner of the stove when the rain falls Hoping for the seagull on her street lamp Dream

Anton is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us warmly at the airport with his VW Caravel and even brought a trailer to accommodate our 12 pieces of luggage—such thoughtful preparation! Throughout our stay, Anton was incredibly helpful, guiding us everywhere we needed to go and even driving us around. His place is absolutely homey and thoughtfully designed, with everything we could possibly need right there. It’s clear Anton has put a lot of care and attention into making his home welcoming. The amenities were top-notch—having access to a sauna and even a whirlpool was such a treat! If you’re looking for a place that feels like home and a host who genuinely cares, I couldn’t recommend Anton enough. We’re already looking forward to staying here again!
