This house is absolutely amazing! Aspirational living at its best, I set new life goals after this stay 😝 Worth every cent. The attention to detail and thought that has been applied to this home, made our stay incredible. The owners take such great care of this house. Any issue and there is a property manager 2min away. I would eat off the floors it’s so clean. You are on the water and the unobstructed view is fantastic! The open spaces and views open your mind as well. The house is immaculately clean and the relaxation spaces and room for 10+ people allows everyone to come together or find a spot and have some time. I could have stayed there a month! Flip, maybe next time I just might!

Splendid location if you wanted peace and tranquility on the banks of the Freestate Vaal River. It comes with a deck boasting river views and a really comfortable hot tub. The chalet was super neat and the bedding luxurious and comfortable. Martha, our hostess, took good care of our every need. The venue is pet friendly, which was a huge plus. Highly recommended. The unit was beautiful and matched the photos and descriptions. Paul was very friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. He also organized kayaks and fishing rods for us at our request. The team that came to clean the unit every morning was very professional and discreet, so the whole time we were there, we didn’t feel like we were being disturbed or uncomfortable. The sunrise over the Vaal was beautiful and we were lucky to have great weather over the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a quiet weekend away.

The Boathouse was amazing and a truly tranquil experience. The surroundings and the river views looked beautiful. The staff on the property were also really helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home

We had the best time! Ruben was especially accommodating to our 18 month old with camping cot and baby chair. We really appreciated it!

One of the most special little breaks we've had. Aloe Fjord is beautiful, the sunsets are magical, the quietness and calmness around you is surreal, and Amy is just absolutely gorgeous. Paula and her Husband the owners of Aloe Fjord are possibly the sweetest hosts we've ever met; they are so kind and caring; they welcomed us with open arms and helped and accommodated us with requests and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We'll definitely make a point of it to visit more often.

This was our second visit to Frans place and it was as if we returned to family. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. We are completely spoilt at the lodge and we are looking forward to our upcoming 3rd visit. Thank you for sharing your place with us Fran, we love you guys, see you soon.

The tent was very neat and clean. I had a blast in the well equipped kitchen. I felt like a master chef. The view from the deck is out of this world. There are so many birds around. We loved that the dogs greeted us everyday, one of them even had a sleep over one night. We nicknamed the river, birds & frogs Natures Radio. My husband tried fishing but the river came down very strong, the barbers in the evening made up for that tho. We planned our days around fishing for barbers at night. Ask Ansie about the barbers when the light comes on!!! What an experience. Not to be missed. I don't at all have green fingers but noticed how pretty the gardens are all around the farm. We will definitely be back, as regularly as possible. If you need to reset your soul, Zeekoe Lodge is the destination. Don't know how Ansie is doing it, but all the mosquitos were on silent 🤣 they were there as expected on the river but I did not hear one of them.
