Vacation rentals with breakfast in Fes

Houda’s riad is a magical place. It is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The art details are impeccable. It is in a perfect location in the Medina. There is lots of shopping and delicious restaurants nearby. If you want all the action of the Medina, this is a wonderful choice. It is a lot of walking with hills and steps and twisty turns which we loved but may be difficult for some. Noura was so helpful with any questions we had and with local recommendations. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!

The housekeeper brought us to the riad and we were shocked how beautiful it was. We felt like kings in this accommodation. Yassine (the housekeeper) was very nice and helpful. He served us breakfast every morning and gave us useful recommendations. The terrace is also a perfect place to start or end your days in Fes!

We had a great stay at this Medina. It obviously starts with the local staff. They were wonderful, polite and eager to help with anything. The Riad looks exactly like the pictures and is very easy to feel at home in. If you are staying in Fes, I highly recommend this Riad. Affordable parking across the street and access to the Blue Gate and a second entrance to the Medina are within steps of this Riad.

This is a unique house created with intelligence and love. On the edge of the Fes medina it’s close to the buzz but far enough to be peaceful. We stayed 3 weeks in January with no need for a car. We had full sun and blue skies except for 1 day. We swam in the beautiful big pool everyday ( it was very cold, we are from northern Europe). It was chilly before 10am and after 6pm but the terrace and garden get plenty of sun. The bedrooms are all a generous size. Only 3 are en-suite. The dining room and communal lounge were a squeeze for our party of 9, it would be easier to enjoy the house on warmer days. This is a home not an hotel and more relaxed for it. Sanae the manager of the house is a warm, kind person we had the privilege to meet. She made us soup and prescribed cures for aches and pains. The memory of the beautiful garden, lemon trees, orange trees, olives and cacti will keep us warm for the rest of our winter.

Fatima was the perfect hostess - responsive, helpful and charming - and we loved both the meal she prepared for us on our first night and our leaving gifts. Dar El Kendil was very well equipped and a perfectly situated base from which to explore Fes. We would suggest bringing earplugs, as the window of one of the bedrooms opens onto the medina.

This place is right in the middle of the Medina, with everything very close by that you might want to get to. They prepared us a wonderful breakfast and dinner the day that we were there (dinner on request but amazing traditional meal!) They also connected us with a knowledgeable guide and had a porter to help us bring our bags down to where the entrance was, which was a little ways down an alley (like everything there) but we felt very safe and it was easy to find after even the first venture out! The rooftop was also incredible, you can see the whole city from their place. Thank you so much Loubna and Pascal for making Morocco feel so welcoming!

Halima was an extremely kind and welcoming host. Although I don’t speak much French and she didn’t speak English, we were still able to make great conversation, with the help of Google translate. Her place is right by the old Medina, so all the major sightseeing and shopping is just near by. The new Medina is just a short 5 minute taxi ride away.

Daniel’s place is well located in the New City of Fes. It is decorated in traditional Moroccan style and is well stocked for all needs. It is very spacious and is a perfect place for a family stay.

We really felt at home. There is a cafe right in front and a grocery store within walking distance, so I had a comfortable stay.

It was my best experience in Moroccan. Fátima and her family are lovers, I felt like a part of the family. Traditional Moroccan breakfast, a delight, Fatima is a non-no-filled cook. Very clean and organized house. From the taxi medina 10 minutes, it cost less than 2€ the taxi. Great option to rest after a busy day in the medina. The best wifi I used in Moroccan, I was able to catch up on my work. They took us to the airport for a great price . I hope to return one day.

We arrived very last minute and were able to check in within an hour. An authentic student shared apartment experience. All very friendly and helpful!

This Riad was especially beautiful. The hotel was once the home of a wealthy family. Our room was spacious and the decor was beautiful and intricate. The interior garden was peaceful and provided a restful setting for tea and a delicious breakfast served by friendly and kind hosts. We would definitely return!

An amazing riad just a short 5 minute walk from the main markets of Fes. Our host was so friendly and helpful, arranging transfers to get to and from the riad and the breakfast each morning was amazing. The room we stayed in was much bigger than the pictures shown, it had 2 floors with the bathroom being upstairs. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Lovely communal dining area. There was also a rooftop terrace we discovered which had beautiful views.
