Vacation rentals with lake access in Fayette County

This place is a dream! Had so much fun with my girls for Antique Week! The owners are amazing! We will be staying there again!

Barbara’s cabin was truly a hidden gem in the outskirts of Smithville. I have tons of family who have lived in Smithville since the 50’s if not earlier so I’ve grown up in Smithville and to have a place like this cabin to stay at when visiting family is amazing! The photos truly don’t do it justice. The property is very well maintained and it was freshly mowed. It’s on a few acres and has plenty of space outside to roam and enjoy the view of the river. It ac works very well, I ended up sleeping on the futon which was comfortable enough to me and everything is very clean and well-kept. My only complaint would be the lock on the gate was fairly hard to work (push back together and get it to stick, even after changing all the numbers on the pad).

Craig is a great host! He was communicative and helpful. His space was very comfortable and exactly what we needed.

Super sweet spot which felt private and safe. Adorable cabin with a nice back deck where we had coffee in the morning. The cabin was stocked with what we needed, and was very clean and tidy. We came for Round Top and while it was about a 25 minute drive, the location still felt accessible. We would stay again for sure!

I was looking for a special outdoor experience for just me and my nine-year-old granddaughter and did we find it!!!! The Reserve at Greenleaf went above and beyond our expectations!! It offered outdoor adventures including some of the most phenomenal wilderness hiking experiences we’ve ever had. The hiking along with the luxurious yurt experience were our favorites! The campfires, hot tub, stargazing, and fun games under the pavilion added even more special moments together. Just loved the peace that came with this most majestic experience. All was exquisitely clean. The most fabulous hosts, Jeanne and Bubba, were the best. They were quick to respond to any questions. Loved the coffee!! Snacks were great, too, after we put in hours of hiking. And the beds were super comfy. We slept so magnificently. Oh, almost forgot the hammock! My granddaughter just loved this special touch. I did too. Hats off to the hosts for this special set apart place of recreation, rest, retreat, and enjoyment! It makes for a great getaway from The hustle and bustle of busy every day and especially city life.

My wife and I came here on a weekend getaway from Austin and were SO happy we chose Ashley's cabin. Beautiful and peaceful, it has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend. Ashely provided so many great recommendations for spots in the area and was always very responsive. While we did go into town a bit, we spent most of our time relaxing at the cabin, which has an amazing balcony overlooking the water. The bed was very comfortable and the living room/kitchen area was incredibly cozy. We definitely hope to be back!

Beautiful place! No need to worry about forgetting anything because the house had everything you could possibly need! Reid was very responsive, answered all our questions and took care of any issues we had. My kids loved the pool, hot tub, fishing and kayaking! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

This is my go to place twice a year for the last 4 years . It’s so peaceful, and we got up both mornings to watch the sunrise and sunset. Beautiful pictures of the long horns. Walking trails, fast response if needed. I look forward to next stay
