Vacation rentals with lake access in Fayette County

6 minutes from Bastrop. Clean. Host lives upstairs. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom has a full size bed with a desk and computer work station. Another bedroom has a king bed and a crib with a little blanket. There are some toys and a stool for kids. This room has a pocket door into the main bathroom, which has a tub and a hand-wand shower head, which is great for bathing kids. The master bedroom across the hall has its own double sink, full tub and shower with instant hot water. It has a king bed, blackout curtains, a sliding glass doors overlooking the swing set in the backyard, and three office chairs to use as luggage racks. There’s a path down to the pond through the woods out back. It’s about a minute walk to the water. It’s a natural area, so it’s muddy and a bit swampy at the water’s edge. Not a place for fishing, swimming, or boating. Just a fun place for little kids to explore the woods and then head back to the swingset. It’s a quiet place.

I love the place! It was gorgeous and perfect for our stay. The home was beautiful, well decorated and personable. Jennifer was wonderful to work with. We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back. I have always loved antique homes and properties. I told my husband he had to buy it for me! This was a joke of course as Jennifer would be crazy to sell it! She has put so much love and attention into the home and it shows. We are a huge TV family... but we never turned it on once. We did play on our phones a bit... while rocking on the porch and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the location. I highly recommend renting both properties and taking your family up for the weekend and just enjoying it all. Wonderful places nearby like Round Top and La Grange to explore.

I was looking for a special outdoor experience for just me and my nine-year-old granddaughter and did we find it!!!! The Reserve at Greenleaf went above and beyond our expectations!! It offered outdoor adventures including some of the most phenomenal wilderness hiking experiences we’ve ever had. The hiking along with the luxurious yurt experience were our favorites! The campfires, hot tub, stargazing, and fun games under the pavilion added even more special moments together. Just loved the peace that came with this most majestic experience. All was exquisitely clean. The most fabulous hosts, Jeanne and Bubba, were the best. They were quick to respond to any questions. Loved the coffee!! Snacks were great, too, after we put in hours of hiking. And the beds were super comfy. We slept so magnificently. Oh, almost forgot the hammock! My granddaughter just loved this special touch. I did too. Hats off to the hosts for this special set apart place of recreation, rest, retreat, and enjoyment! It makes for a great getaway from The hustle and bustle of busy every day and especially city life.

We really enjoyed the place and plan on renting again next year. They had great little extras incase you left something at home and plastic ware for you to eat with. Having those worked out great for us because we brought food home from the local steak house but forgot to ask them for cutlery. The place is very quaint and peaceful. I will say for those that may be more high maintenance the rust stains in the toilet and shower may bother you but know those can’t be helped when living with well water. It’s nothing to fear but I wanted to warn those of you who may give bad reviews due to something like. They don’t deserve bad reviews due to something like water stains. We really enjoyed making coffee in the Keurig and watching the sunsets on the porch.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need, from a fully stocked kitchen to thoughtful amenities. The kids loved the games, the pool, and especially having a bike to ride around. The property itself was stunning, and the street felt like something out of a movie, with beautiful old homes all around. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

My husband and I found just the place to unplug, unwind, relax, and reconnect! We stayed in the Potter’s Shed, which was clean and cozy, and just so perfect for the two of us! The bed and lines were amazingly comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch in the mornings and evenings, and exploring the beautiful grounds which felt like an enchanted, secret garden. Especially when all of the paths were lit with hanging lights at night. Sandi and Steve were most welcoming and made us feel right at home upon their welcoming us in, even later than we had hoped to arrive. The homemade and pre-prepared breakfast dishes left in the fridge for us were absolutely scrumptious, and I may be begging for those recipes in the near future! We will be returning, as well as recommending to family and friends!

We had a great time enjoying the space in and around the ranch! We biked, hiked and relaxed in the space. What a wonderful place to spend a few days to relax and recharge. The host was great and responsive to all questions and needs. The bike trails were fun and challenging, if you are coming to ride or hike.
