Vacation rentals with a balcony in Faro District

My wife and I stayed in this charming and whimsical home for three nights in April. The photos are very accurate. Location is perfect for exploring Salema and immersing oneself in its charm and slow pace. The waterfront/beach is a block away, with wonderful restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk radius. The apartment is quiet (although the neighbor’s several cats will occasionally serenade the outside entry promenade ;). Decor of the apartment is incredibly charming, with ornate tilework and a Moorish motif. Fun and artistic! One note: due to steep and narrow stairs, and the bedrooms being more deep alcoves tucked under the roof slope, guests with mobility/balance/climbing concerns might find things challenging. Also, given that the two bedrooms are adjacent to the stairway landing, and have curtains for entry instead of doors, “romantic privacy” would seem challenging if rented by a group larger than just a couple. All in all, a wonderful stay! Muito obrigado!

I’ve stayed in hundreds of Air BnBs around the world but I have never experienced anything as wonderful as Joana’s place. I renamed it Casa Recovery. I walked 120km in 5 days on the Fisherman’s Trail and had 4 nights to recover at Joana’s. It was bliss. I don’t want to ruin the surprise of all the amazing details that Joana has put in place in the Casa - I’ll let you be as blown away as I was! Super comfy bed, spotlessly clean, gorgeous terrace, very safe (I am a solo woman traveller) and in a lovely local area. 6 mins walk to the middle of the old town. I LOVED my stay. I can not thank you enough, Joana! Everyone, you MUST stay here!

We (couple with a daughter of 1,5 years) had a pleasant stay in the apartment of Ingmar. The instruction was really clear to find it and enter for the first time as well as all other recommendations. The house is equipped with everything you need, the kitchen had everything to prepare a good meal after a sunny day at the beach. As the apartment includes a cot and high chair we can recommend it for others as well with children.

The apartment is beautiful!! Super spacious, with all the amenities. Highly recommended. Terry was an excellent host! He welcomed us, with some amenities, in the pool, he left inflatables for my daughter. She gave us a lot of recommendations. Very nice and responsive! The stay was perfect!

Our group of five adults and five kids aged 4 through 10 had a wonderful time at the Villa Ocean Blue. The house is even better than the photos and has loads of space for everyone. Grounds are immaculate and pool was clean and heated - a huge hit with both kids and adults. Kitchen is new and well equipped. Outside there are both a coal fired and a gas grill which were good additions. Plenty of outdoor space on the terraces to lounge and relax. Communication with the hosts was super easy and they replied promptly to any message/request and were helpful with local tips for activities and restaurants (the lunch restaurant "A Sereia" at the docks is a must!) Downstairs there was an extremely pleasant surprise for the older kids (and nostalgic adults) - a two player arcade machine with every game from the 80s and 90s you can dream of - a Pandora Box DX for the gamers out there. A big hit! I'd recommend this property to both groups of friends and families travelling together. A gem!

Extraordinary stay in a beautiful spot. The view is unmatched. The house is perfectly equipped and the pool and spa are lovely. Wilson went above and beyond to care for us before, during, and after the stay. A kind and thoughtful host!!

fantastic apartment perfect location with restaurants and local amenities right on your doorstep. great view of the marina. Anabela was very welcoming and let us check in early. the private car park space was an added bonus as we had hired a car for the week. a lovely 25 minute walk into the old town, with lots of shops and a gorgeous beach. highly recommend staying here.

We were so thrilled to discover this lovely apartment for our week’s holiday in Lagos! Clean, bright, and airy - it was a perfect base for exploring the town and Algarve coast. Lots of good places to eat are within a 10 minute walk, as is the beach/coastal boardwalk. With a car, lots of longer hikes are easily accessible too. Pedro was so warm, welcoming and responsive to our messages. A great host and great home!
