Vacation rentals with lake access in Fairfield County

We had a wonderful holiday stay at the lake. We were visiting family in the area and the space was the perfect size for our family of 5 adults. Host was responsive to questions as well.

K.C. Was a wonderful host. At anytime before and during our trip, she was very responsive and provided plenty of solutions or individuals that could assist us. Her home was beautiful and cozy and we enjoyed the decor and beauty of it and the surroundings. Amazing host and I can’t wait to come back again!

It’s almost hard to believe Lake Waccabuc is only 1 hr north of NYC! My family had a wonderful stay! It was not easy leaving. Thank you Patrick! Once you arrive here, you will NOT want to leave! A true gem. You will feel like you’re in Maine! The house is set in the woods surrounded by hemlocks and pine trees, with a perfect view of the lake! We saw bald eagles, swans, and blue herons. Loved the morning light and fog-listening to the songs of the birds and watching the sunset on the lake. Our family loved fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking! The house is set on 4 acres- a fun and safe area to cycle, and take long walks. Close to Ridgefield, CT, Katonah and Bedford -only 15 min away! Patrick always responded to my questions within minutes and Jay, the house manager went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect!!!! My boys already have asked if we can come back and rent again! 🙏

The property is absolutely amazing! Truly 10/10. The whole place is a unique experience and quite peaceful. We had everything we needed for our stay, as well as small touches like extra towels - which is always a plus! We were in CT to enjoy strolling through small town shops and restaurants, and there was plenty of that within a short drive. It was the perfect location for us, and I'm sure we'll be back again. As a matter of fact, it's close enough to NYC that we just might stay here again when we take our new trip to the city!

The home and location are wonderful…the house had everything one could want…including a super hairdryer and fluffy new towels…and a great shower too. Also very bright with lots of incoming sunshine & light. Joann was totally responsive and she aimed to make sure I was comfortable & happy. Great summer month in South Salem…the surrounding towns are great too. I enjoyed all the boutique shopping, restaurants & thrift shops too. A wonderful month long stay at this home. So sorry to have it end. ❤️😍

The unique home was a truly amazing experience. The grandchildren loved the yard. The porch was a peaceful gathering place or a serene place to just think or write or just sit and enjoy. A short drive brings many things to do or see. The piano was amazing. The artwork and history contained in those walls was a bonus gift.

My wife and I traveled here from Texas to spend time for our anniversary and enjoy a true New England Fall. This place did not disappoint!! The home is a true cottage and makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and yet so close to all you need. Great restaurants and hiking trails close by. Most of the time we just enjoyed snuggling up on the amazing couch with a fire and watching Netflix on the projector. Spending our mornings having coffee on the patio overlooking the black pond or enjoying sunset with a nice drink and listening to nature. This place really is amazing and we did not want to leave, if you are thinking about it, BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed!!

Kristi was very responsive and helpful. I had to change the booking date and she was very accommodating.The property was clean and just as listed. I would book again.

We fell in love with this beautiful home. Every room has a gorgeous view. The beds were very comfortable, which is a huge plus. The location was accessible to everything. I would absolutely stay again!

Great place, exactly as described! We absolutely loved our stay there! The heat-stove makes the place specially cozy .

Looks just like the pictures. Personal preference, some of the windows didn’t have curtains to allow for more light. Not a deal breaker for me. The lights in the ceiling of living room, we couldn’t get them to stop changing diff colors.. like a Xmas tree.. we wanted to use them but didn’t know how to make it stop so we didn’t use them. We didn’t ask milan either again.. not a deal breaker. The home looks modern but as soon as we stepped in, it felt like home. Very relaxed atmosphere. we could hear the train, but wasn’t to the extent that it was distracting. Beautiful area. walked to the UCBC bakery & got breakfast sandwiches.. sat at the lake and ate then walked downtown to our event! Wonderful! Only complaint was that the washer smelled a little mildewy but not removing stars for that. This could be easily missed when cleaning & hard to maintain with revolving guests. We have a front load and leave the door ajar until dry. Would book again no doubt! Ty milan for the comforting stay

Peaceful, serene lake house. Loved sitting by the dock and people watching. Comfy, cozy rooms and inviting living room with a huge tv to enjoy movie night and hangout. Many different deck areas make the house more fun. Driveway has minimal space so need to be mindful of how many cars you are taking (fits 2 comfortably and 3 if the neighbor doesn't park too close to your driveway)

I love a clean pet friendly Airbnb. Brads place was nicely designed and had almost everything we needed for a Thanksgiving feast for 4. The outdoor area in the back looked like it would be nice in warm weather and it was great to have a fenced in backyard for our dog.

This cottage was the perfect stay for our long weekend! Great views of the lake and a nice place to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I’ve stayed in Kelsey’s beautiful home twice now and it is amazing each time. It looks exactly like the photos and is nestled in the most peaceful neighborhood off of a lake. She is always quick and helpful in her responses and ensures you have the best stay possible. Highly recommend!

The lake is so peaceful, and the neighborhood is quiet. The perfect house for some downtime from a busy life, I would recommend . Rose is great at declutter and cleanliness, but still adds a flair of hominess and style. Will be your favorite home away from home in the summer if you love trees, birds, peacefullness and a beautiful lake to paddle on!!

Dana's house was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. It was an older house that had been totally redone with high quality amenities, furniture and appliances. There was everything you needed and most of it felt brand new! Dana was extremely responsive and provided a really nice welcome booklet with a lot of information about that area that was very helpful. This house was well worth the cost and I would for sure stay again!

This was my second stay with my dogs - the place is beautiful and so peaceful. This place is a gem. It has everything you need. It has a beautiful large yard for walking dogs and relaxing. Very clean. It’s a quick drive to Bedford. Fred is a great host. I highly recommend this spot!
