Had a fabulous stay with an age range between 15 and 80 which is definitely difficult to please! The younger group Loved the gym and the pool on site and we visited lots of places in the local area including some great costal path walks.

The house is in a fantastic location, both within the holiday complex it’s set in and where it’s placed in Cornwall, so much to do on the doorstep, with easy access to both the north and south coasts. The house is very clean, has instant hot water and well laid out with two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The living room upstairs with the table football is a great addition to the kitchen/dinner/sofas downstairs. The balcony with a hot tub is great too. The house is very quiet and the position of the house makes it very private. The use of the indoor pool and tennis courts were a great bonus. The house could feel more homely with more artwork on the walls and nicer furniture (it’s a bit of a mishmash of charity shop stuff that doesn’t go together), but this is a minor point compared to the real positives mentioned above. We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend it. Melanie is a great host and very responsive.

stayed for 4nights with our dog as well. the caravan was great, but it was the location that made it for us. the beach was outstanding. Molly our dog just loved charging around the huge dog friendly area. It was nice to come back to and sit outside with a glass of wine despite a bit of dodgy wheather. The caravan was spacious and very well equipt, alltogether a very nice break.

We had a lovely stay, wish we could stay longer! Brixham is beautiful and so much to do, and the accommodation was perfectly situated, comfortable and full of character. Would recommend the Dartmouth Steam Railway, a trip to Totnes, the river cruise to Dartmouth, a walk around Berry Head or for the hardier walker the trail to Greenway and back. And for early risers it’s great to see a working fishing port in action. The harbour is so pretty at night, with lots of choices for fish n chips.

What a beautifully decorated and furnished little cottage. Modern amenities inside an old building. Felt cosy with rugs, carpets and curtains, pillows and plaid covers. Warm heating, plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. Kitchen fully equipped. Warm little touches to welcome us with tea bags and fresh milk in the fridge. Christmas decorations made it extra special. TV had plenty of channels to choose from. Comfortable sofas and kitchen chairs. Everything was really great. Can't beat the location at the end of the harbour, with view of the sea and coastline. Wow!

Unforgettable Stay During a Storm. We stayed at the “Seaview Retreat” in Westward Ho! during a stormy weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences ever for our friend’s baby shower. The house was warm, cozy, and perfectly set up for celebrating and relaxing. Despite the wild weather, the property felt safe and inviting, thanks to the hosts’ amazing care and attentiveness. They went above and beyond to secure loose doors during the storm, ensuring we were comfortable and at ease. The amenities were fantastic, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space for us to gather. Even with the dramatic weather, the coastal views were stunning and added a unique charm to our stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided thoughtful recommendations for local takeaways and activities, making everything so easy. Our weekend was a huge success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommend this property – we will definitely be back! - Monika x

It was a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay, the ocean views stood out and were a nice sight to see in the morning and the guests had a full description of what to do around there and instructions for the property.

I had an amazing stay at Jane’s villa! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and gave us great guidance throughout our stay. The villa was absolutely stunning, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a five-star level of cleanliness. Everything was perfectly organized, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. The view in the morning was breathtaking, and we truly had wonderful moments there. I highly recommend renting this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot with amazing views. We had a lovely, relaxing time at Salt Cabin! It’s beautifully presented and has wonderful views. Very peaceful. We didn’t want to leave! There were very specific instructions about cleaning up and how to leave the place upon checkout which I thought were a bit ott, given we pay a cleaning fee, however they were politely requested and we were happy to adhere because Deborah is a great host, with a gorgeous place and has been very responsive and helpful throughout. Would absolutely stay again ☺️
