We had a lovely week here. The views were stunning and we enjoyed walking down to the beach. The condo is just as pictured: nothing fancy but comfortable.

Pauline has created a truly peaceful and unique space that allows everyone to relax and recharge. Pauline has put a lot of care, thought, and effort in creating a peaceful private hideaway. She was extremely helpful with all of my questions and provided me with an amazing massage recommendation for a phenomenal massage therapist. Pauline is also very knowledgeable of the area and local art scene. She clearly has devoted many hours to creating a peaceful, unique, retreat nestled in the redwoods. The hot tub on the deck is a perfect place to unwind after walking back up from enjoying the chickens and turkey. Don't miss out on visiting the coop! Her birds have such personality! Overall this was the perfect place with everything we needed! I highly recommend this property and greatly look forward from renting from Pauline again. (She is a phenomenal human with a warm, welcoming, and loving personality. She cares with her full heart about making your stay comfortable, and special)

We loved our stay at Celeste’s place and, yes, the view is amazing. We were delighted to find a beautiful apartment with lovely decorations and everything we needed for an enjoyable few days by the ocean. Located close to restaurants, including early morning, coffee and breakfast with homemade baked goods, and not too far away from the other end of town, which we accessed easily on our daily walks. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset. Our two little dogs were welcome and had a treat waiting for them. We will definitely be back and recommend Wow What A View to everyone.

Such a charming cottage. So many little extras, we felt quite pampered. Darling private garden. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Just right for one or two people. The day before our stay there was an earthquake in the town of Ferndale. Lynn let us know right away what was going on and that we would be able to stay as planned. Definitely want to return.

My family of four - two adults and two kids (age 10 and 13), plus our dog, had a wonderful stay at Shannah's. The bungalow felt serene and welcoming as soon as we stepped through the front gate. I appreciated the tropical themed decor and plants, as it added to the feeling that we were on holiday. The interior was very comfortable, like clean and well-loved home. Good lighting too, with many lamps and not just ceiling lights. The view of the ocean is spectacular, and in the mornings we also were able to observe deer both near and far. Heating worked well, and we stayed cozy through very rainy days. Our dog enjoyed sniffing the air from the patio, and I easily walked her along the road outside the house. It is VERY dark at night to walk a dog; I suggest bringing a headlamp for night dog walks. It's an easy drive down to tidepooling or sea lion spotting at Mal Coombs Park. Black Sands beach is rugged and beautiful. Highly recommend staying at Shannah's if you're exploring the Lost Coast!

This hidden gem, exceeded every expectation we had. From incredible customer service to clean, well kept units with a stunning view we had the most lovely stay. We plan to return again…and bring friends!

My family and I had a great stay. The place was very cozy and comfortable. It was a breeze to check in and out. Overall a very nice experience.
