Vacation rentals in Essvik

We had some lovely days at Claudia and Egil's house. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Large wonderful garden and swimming opportunities from the jetty directly adjacent to the plot. The kids loved both the house and the outdoor environment . A very special house, with personal decor. Especially we appreciated all the live plants and small quirky details, both inside and out.

We were a large group of 13 people, children and adults, who had two great days at the house. Kenny responded quickly when we had questions or needed help with anything.

As all the previous reviews have stated, it is truly a gorgeous property with a wonderful host. It was a great location to base ourselves for a few days to explore the High Coast area although one could stay there and enjoy the view and the surroundings just as well. We had everything to make the stay comfortable. A few things to keep in mind are that the TV is basic, so no streaming, and the internet speed wasn't predictably stable, which might have been an issue if we had planned to work and had video calls.

Great stay near the sea and a wonderful view! The kitchen is well equipped. Some cabins nearby, which made it a bit busier in the weekend, but the cabin is situated in a way that creates decent privacy. We had a relaxing time.

I had a nice time in the grey cottage walking 🙂 a lot with the dog and enjoyed the northern lights!

The location is an oasis. Rolling golf course. Overlooking lake and magical sunsets. Cloud free nights with all the stars in the sky. Northern Lights. Magic. The villa is a beauty to the eye. Likewise, the garden. And all warm outdoor lighting. The entrance hall is very welcoming. The hall continues upstairs. And there... On the 2nd floor... a big wall of old timber! So incredibly beautiful! Crystal chandeliers on the ceilings... and what a ceiling height... and huh..? A gym! Gym in a hall. So brilliant. Reflection: What's important? Yes, health. And that's the first thing you get into if you want to stay here. Sweaty after a gym pass? Open a door = big nice balcony. Maybe should tear me from all the eye candy in the hall and enter apartment 1102, along with loved ones. Oops...so nice! So tastefully decorated. Color choices, new and old beautiful furniture create harmony. Here I want to stay. Here I want to stay.
