I came here with a large group of people and we fit perfectly. What a perfect location, right in the center of Bakewell and surrounded by beautiful walks. Really well stocked kitchen as well.

Really lovely stay in the Manor House for a family gathering for a surprise 40th birthday, the house is beautiful has everything you would need, lovely cake and fizz on arrival. And house beautifully decorated for Christmas which just added to it :)

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great place for a get together, pool was nice and warm and kids loved it. Also useful to have different cottages so everyone could get a nap or work done. Would recommend

Great little place in a quiet area. Spotlessly clean and tidy with all listed amenities that were new and usable. Communication with the hosts was quick, easy and they were accommodating of our needs. Parking is on-street only, but there was always a spot available close by so this wasn’t an issue. Would be more than happy to stay here again as price is very reasonable and location is perfect for our needs. Thanks!

Fantastic location for our needs. Everything was extremely clean. Robert was a very helpful host and answered any questions we had. The wif was very fast which was important for us. We booked the house for a family weekend visiting in Derby. Great central location. Fantastic house with high ceilings and original period architecture, tastefully decorated. Loads of space to relax in and was a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Penny’s place was absolutely wonderful! The house was cosy, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space to relax. Her personal touches – from thoughtful walking recommendations to delicious homemade scones and cake – made our stay even more special. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was the perfect host. We’ll 100% be visiting again! 5 star experience.

Wow! This has to be the cleanest Airbnb I've stayed in. The place is exactly as described. It has everything you could need from shower gels, kitchen equipment, fantastic WiFi - it wasn't missing anything.

Steve kept us in contract throughout and made our stay great. Never used Airbnb before so this was a great touch from the host. Will definitely use again

We stayed as a group of 6 (2 kids, a couple, a set of grandparents.... and a small pup). The house coped well for a 4 night Xmas break away. There was just about enough room for the 6 of us. The house was well equipped, and beds were comfortable. We had a small issue with the boiler (the electrics had reset after a storm earlier in the week), and we notified the host and it was sorted within the hour. The owner came by and fixed it for us. We ate dinner one night in the Wheatsheaf (next door), it was great value, the food was tasty and the service was good. We did book, not sure about walk ins. We sampled 2 other pubs in the village during our stay (about a 10 min walk) - The Pear Tree and the Curzon Arms. Both lovely, good menus, and a nice bar area if you just fancy a drink. We didn't use the hot tub as it was empty when we arrived, and nobody had the will or patience to sort it out. The house is perfect for a quiet getaway in the countryside.

We had an excellent family get together here. Plenty of space and the house has all the amenities you could need. Great location for exploring Bakewell and surrounding area. Ben was an excellent host.

Home from home. Ideal base for the Midlands. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful private garden. We highly recommend staying there.

We had a fabulous stay for Christmas week and was enjoyed by all. The dining area was fantastic for hosting the family and the large living room was an absolute winner. We loved the views of the countryside from the rear of the property and particularly from the large windows of the master bedroom. A great place to stay with the family, we look forward to returning in the future. Katie was a fabulous host.

Had a great week here - was on a working break, and the dining table with an excellent view was just the spot. Warm, cosy, everything we needed on hand - well-equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom. Walking and cycling in the area provided a welcome break from the desk, as did the view of the busy birdfeeder from the kitchen window! Would like to come again in a warmer month, when we could make more use of the balcony, terrace, and the garden. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Callum's place. It was easy to find with clear directions, and comfortable inside. We appreciated the extra touches, e.g breakfast options and kids toys. Would recommend.

It's like a home from home! A very well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful walks from the door and a good selection of pubs within walking distance.

Stayed at Rebecca’s place with my three little ones and it was a real pleasure, from the moment we walked through the door we felt right at home! The kids had plenty of space to run and play, the home is lovely and spacious with a nice size back garden. We live in Melbourne but often visit family and friends in England, this place will be number 1 on my list for my next visit if there’s availability! Would definitely recommend for families, has everything you would need and location was perfect, central to everything but very peaceful.
