Delightful, cozy lake house, conveniently located for lots of side quests, upper peninsula and Mackinac island. Sweet house, comfortable bed, sparkling clean, new appliances, good WiFi, fireplace, well stocked kitchen, and bright sun room. Jackie’s place had everything we needed — highly recommended!

We rented two units for our families during our wedding weekend. The rooftop was excellent for photos. The units are in a great location and makes it fun and easy to walk into town.

Great place to stay if you like northern Michigan. Surrounded by great places to fish!

Super comfortable with nice large couch and two larger easy chairs. Lots of equipment to make pancakes and eggs for breakfast. Beautiful setting for snowy ski mini vacation. Access to the hot tub and new clubhouse was a plus after a day of skiing. Kids enjoyed all the woods right outside to build a snow man and snow fort. Nice location to run into Harbor or Petoskey and close enough to ski hills to easily run and pick people up when they were tuckered. And working fireplace with endless wood supply. Nice!

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. very friendly host! Anna was messaging me far in advance if the stay. she provided a helpful warning of the apple festival downtown that disrupted traffic. She offered local tips on things to do and was helpful overall. nice place for a family to stay with young kids.

beautiful place, super clean, super spacious!

This was an awesome trip. The house was so clean, we didn't even have to wipe down a countertop! Everything is as described in the pictures! Gregory answered any questions we had so promptly. The location was wonderful, we set out by the firepit each evening and watched barges across the street go down the water way. The house was equipped with everything we needed, the drawers were labeled, very easy to find whatever you needed. The location was perfect, restaurants and breweries were close and the local fish, walleye and whitefish were excellent. Mackinac Island Ferry in St Ignace was very close and the Island is so worth the trip. We did the Carriage House Island tour, I strongly recommend this tour when visiting the island! Sault Sue Marie was just an hour away, we did the Soo Lock Tour it was very informational. We had an added extra, Canada was having an Air Show and we were able to enjoy the Snowbird's show!

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

Ginny’s Penny Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable, and easy to live in space. The new interiors, the furniture, and beds are high quality and well thought out. The bathrooms are roomy and like new. The kitchen has a great layout and is generously equipped. Indoor family room open to kitchen and dining is great space for resting, games, and preparing meals together. A short walk to Lake Michigan beach access, close to town, on a quiet neighborhood street. The Penny Cottage was an ideal winter getaway for us, close to Boyne Mountain and exploring the coast. Would love to come back in summertime!
