Couldn’t fault our stay here. There was everything you needed, it was lovely clean and comfortable.

A gorgeous property in a location that was very handy for us - close to Alton Towers and a drivable distance from the city. Graham was kind and communicated all the necessary information we needed. The hot tub is great too!

Beautiful house, good quality kitchen and utensils including some coffee pods, dishwasher pods, and a delicious cake (🙏🏽).. felt like being at home, nice and warm despite stormy weather outside. Swimming pool was so much fun for the children. We all had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

A fabulous cottage in a beautiful location. Hidden away in the countryside but within easy reach of several places to visit. It was a true home from home with everything you could need for a relaxing break away. We didn't use the kitchen other than for breakfast and an evening cuppa but it was well equipped and could easily have been used to make a more substantial meal. The lounge area was comfortable and very cosy with the woodburner. Plenty books and leaflets to help you plan your stay. The bedrooms were huge with a comfy bed and a super view from the main bedroom window. Each had their own en suite too. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed by some delicious warm home made brownies! Rachael and Gerry as hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They are only next door if you need them and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back, in the summer next time so we can make more of the surrounding area and its walks.

We've just experienced a lovely business work away. There were 3 of us and the stay was perfect. The cabin is furnished beautifully, the surroundings are delightful, and the log burner and Jacuzzi are the icing on the cake. Also very close to Carsington Lake which has a lovely cafe and some scenic walks.

Lovely place to spend a weekend. Plenty warm enough in the winter, very roomy and great kitchen & bathroom compared to other shepherd’s huts we’ve stayed in previously. Amazing walks right on the doorstep, we walked to Bollington and back quite easily and enjoyed the local pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our time at Goytside Farm! The cottage was lovely and peaceful with amazing surroundings, and we enjoyed being around so many friendly animals. Lots of enjoyable walks around, (even in the wet weather) but not so far away from the centre of New Mills for shopping/restaurants and transport connections. We already miss being mobbed by hens when we leave or enter home. Even though the internet connection was pretty slow, we were still able to work, and there was ample space for two of us. Bed was extremely comfy and the cottage was very well equipped. Our host, Bridget, was amazing. Extremely responsive before and during our stay and provided lots of information about how to get to the cottage and the local area. From the moment we arrived (and managed to get our car wedged in the front entryway - not the most graceful of arrivals) she could not have been more helpful and accommodating, saving us from a potentially nasty scrape. Thank you! We would happily stay again

if you need a place to stay in Buxton that's clean warm and friendly. I strongly recommend this place. iys extremely convenient walking distance to centre of Buxton. Its clean and the host has added clear instructions with a few added hidden extras which came in handy. Thank you Anna
