Waterfront vacation rentals in Emu Bay

Ben’s place was beautifully located walking distance to the beach and river. The house had a very homely feel with everything you could possibly need and made us feel right at home. We particularly loved the barbecue and deck area with the added bonus of being able to feed wallabies at night. The provided torches, board games and surf boards made it easy to go for walks and catch waves at the beach and spend time connecting with each other. The beds were incredibly comfortable and overall we had a fantastic stay.

Absolutely stunning location. The house was a little dated and in need of some repair (still comfortable), however the location and views are incredible. Julie was very thorough in her suggestions for things to see and do. Her communication was excellent.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home Ian. The place was exactly what we needed, very short walk to the beach. We ate in most nights so I was very appreciative of the high quality appliances - so refreshing to have a stove and oven that work perfectly. Everything was great - our only recommendation for improvement would be to pop a pair of rubber gloves under the sink to make washing up a bit smoother.

We enjoyed squid fishing and fishing at the jetty. The view of the American River was beautiful in the early morning, afternoon and evening. The wild animals were also fascinating. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

A perfect stay. Couldn’t fault it even if we tried! Laurise goes above and beyond and made our stay extra special with finer details, including wine and snacks on arrival, background music and aircon switched on ahead of check-in. Beautiful scenery and extremely peaceful. We were very sad to leave!

Great stay. Nice view of ocean. Walk at seafront is the highlight of our stay. Neat and clean property. Good communication by the host. Recommended.

Clearwater Haven is a great place to stay. Centrally located on the island yet still very quiet and peaceful. All the best things to do on the island are not far away. The accommodation is clean, beds and sofas were comfortable and everything worked. Everything was as described in the property description. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and a great way to wind up each day of exploring. Highly recommended.

Wow! This place is breathtaking. The views are gorgeous, the kitchen has every application you may need for cooking (and foil to take out sandwiches!) and the beds are so comfortable. Perfect for families with bedrooms on either side of the house - we went away with my parents and the space was perfect. Thank you so much, we had the best holiday.

Marine Cottage was the perfect seaside stay with a homely feel and incredible view. Everything was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island! Was a great place to stay for our first time. Thanks Peter and Jo!
