Family-friendly vacation rentals in Eltham

We had a great time in Melbourne. The apartment was well located and we were able to walk to all of the places and events that we wanted to see and do. There were restaurants and supermarkets nearby and the Yarra River and Southbank Entertainment Precinct were only two blocks away. The apartment was situated within walking distance of the free tram network.

We had such a lovely time at Veronika’s home. The house truly feels like a museum with various antiquates and relics from all across the world. My partner was mesmerised by all these artefacts, the library which contained a vast array of books and the tranquil courtyard annexed to the bedroom. Waking up to the gentle morning light that filters through the branches and looking into the mossy courtyard was quite surreal. I was also in love with the pool area/ courtyard, with pink leaves, and the surrounding hills and gorgeous natural scenery of the property. The house itself is of course simply spectacular. The large windows allow you to see the landscape from any angle and when the sun filters in - it is simply stunning. At night, it is equally as gorgeous as you can see the stars from the living area. We were lucky enough to chat with Veronika herself to learn about the history of the house. If you go for an early morning walk you’ll see kookaburras and kangaroos - they were adorable

We had a great weekend family stay at Brian's farm. We felt welcomed, the accommodation was clean and had great views. The serounding was beautiful and peaceful. We will surely be back again!

We had such a great stay at Tikali’s place. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and the building had great amenities (loved the pool!). The location couldn’t have been better; right near parks, which was perfect for our dog Buffy, and within easy walking distance to the city. It was the ideal base for our Melbourne trip, and Tikali was a responsive and thoughtful host. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

The generous welcome pack went above and beyond expectations, we felt like we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying at a rental. Kylie & team are incredibly kind & attentive, ensuring that every guest, adult or child, feels cared for. Their thoughtfulness made our stay deeply meaningful. We left with full hearts & will surely return.

The apartment was fantastic with incredible views and great access to Southbank restaurants and CBD. Colin was a excellent host. Very responsive, informative and accommodating. Will definitely stay again in the future!

If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

Lovely quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Lots to do in the local area. Greeted by Luca the friendly dog, and Tony and Jacky were wonderful hosts who went over and above by providing homemade bread and cake!

We had a fantastic stay at this house! It was spacious, well laid out, and had everything we needed for our group of 7, including a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. The location was ideal—close to public transport and a range of restaurants! Louise was great to deal with—friendly, responsive, and super helpful. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Mitch's beautiful property, the house is spacious, clean and quiet at night, beds are so comfy and everything is clean and spotless, Mitch is very friendly and very prompt at responding requests. Enjoyed our stay in Richmond. Erika & Chris’s place is a spacious, modern apartment down a quiet alleyway. Has all the amenities needed, and is within walkable distance to both West Richmond and North Richmond train stations, as well as nearby bus & tram stops.

We had an excellent stay at this gorgeous guesthouse in Seaford! Christine and family were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse is very well appointed and has everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. We loved having our breakfast on the deck watching the birds play in the trees. The location was great, only a short walk to the beach and a brilliant creek side walking trail. Seaford also had a good selection of restaurants. We would happily stay here again and have no hesitation recommend it to others!

Great stay! This was a beautiful space to get ready before a wedding in the valley. Not only was there ample space for our group, there were many interesting places to take photos and enjoy each others company. Stacey was extremely responsive to all of our messages, and the stay was seamless. They also gave us a great local coffee recommendation.

Not much to add to all the other 5 star reviews! Helpful host..so great to find oil_herbs coffee pods and lots of other basics in the cupboard. Very comfy flat,short walk to beach and pier. no 12 tram into town takes a while but is so close and convenient we lived it!

My three generational family spent a week in Julie's place for the F1 weekend. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The bedrooms were all spacious with loads of storage, the beds extremely comfortable, sheets crisp and white. A porta cot for my 4-month-old grandson was provided. The bathrooms were very clean and had all the amenities you could need, towels white and fluffy. The kitchen had absolutely everything you needed and then some. Even milk in the fridge. A spacious dining table that sat 8 plus a highchair for my 2-year-old granddaughter. The lounge area had more than enough room for the adults as well as a plentiful supply of toys for the grandies. The location was perfect, right in front of a tram stop and a few minutes' walk away from the Crown Casino and Southbank bars and restaurants. The hostess Julie was brilliant, replied to texts immediately and even accommodated our late check out at the last minute. I absolutely would go back again. The pool is great too.

Great location, 300m from tram, 500m from train station. Clean, quiet, super comfy bed, toiletries were a nice touch which made the place feel more luxurious, outstanding communication - best I’ve ever had with an airbnb host. Great place to stay as a solo traveller or a couple.

Perfect place for our family of 5 - 2 kids and 3 adults . Righr across all the touristy spots in melbourne Eureka Tower , South bank very walkable and amazing views . Alot of convenience stores in the neighborhood. We loved our 5 day stay amd will definitely revisit and stay at Peters day . Peter was flexible and extended a checkout as our flight was at 10 pm in the night and we were able to checkout at 7 pm .
