Places to stay in Elmore

Palmer's Village Camp is a great spot for those looking to stay in Stowe. Just a block off Main St. / Rt. 100. A stones throw to the Stowe Village cafes, shops and restaurants. A short drive to local attractions like Stowe Mountain, Trapps Lodge and Waterbury. The space was clean and comfortable. The adjoined bedrooms (pocket door between them) is a nice feature for those with kids. The kitchen has all of the amenities you could want and is spacious. Well furnished living room space with a comfortable couch and two sitting chairs, along with benches at the dining table. Palmer was friendly and prompt with all communications. Check-in / out was seamless. All in all, a great option for a stay in Stowe Village!

The place was spacious and accommodate all of us with no problem. We were not able to use the hot tub and were dissapointed with this, but overall the place was perfect for us (close to everything we were doing, the lake views were great, and the snowy days made this a great vacation for us).

Great spot, would rent again. Very cold winter nights in February, so really appreciated the two extra thick blankets provided. Outdoor stairs to the apartment are steep but were mentioned and explained in the advertisement. Clean, cozy, comfortable. Thanks, Chris.

We LOVED staying at the Silo House! The master bath was incredible. It was all so cozy and inviting, had everything we needed. Only thing to note- the two twin beds were downstairs, my kids were fine either way it but adults may not be!

We had a wonderful stay at Pete and Amanda’s. The house was as pictured/ described, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed- plus a great collection of CD’s. Driving directions are clear and Pete was very accommodating with our late check-in. The house is peaceful and tucked away, and we received great recommendations from our hosts on things to do.

This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn! Would definitely go back.

We loved our stay at Cork Studio! Close to all the shops in town, and walkable to the town hall bus stop to get up to the mountain. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs the first night and it was incredible, highly recommend doing the same! We hope to come back to Stowe soon, and would love to stay here again!

This condo is a GREAT location if you're skiing at Stowe. Being able to make a right turn onto Mountain Rd in the morning (if you're familiar with Stowe traffic you'll understand what I mean) and be at the slopes in less than 10 minutes was amazing. And with the Topnotch Resort being on Mountain Rd, you're right in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops, too (the ever-popular Matterhorn is a very short drive away). The condo was spotless and cozy we all found the beds to be especially comfy. Overall, a great stay!
