Vacation rentals in Elbe

What a gorgeous home in a very peaceful location! We saw a seal from the beach, lots of beautiful birds, and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while it lightly rained. The beds were also very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Already talking about a return trip next year!

Our stay at Seagulls Nest was amazing. Great communication from Melinda and James. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We saw deer in the front yard every morning, the beach was beautiful, and the hiking trails were amazing. Doggie beds and food bowls were even provided for our lil dog. This was my first time staying in an air bnb and I appreciated the binder that was provided with clear expectations, important information, and local attractions. We had an amazing time and I would 10/10 stay here again. Thanks so much James and Melinda.

Anne sets the bar for short-term rentals. We had a wonderful stay in her very thoughtfully-appointed home. All of our needs were met with grace and style and surpassed our expectations. We were all very glad to have booked this one.

My kids and I had a great time. The fact that we were allowed to invite guests was a wonderful addition, and something I'm not used to on Airbnb. We all enjoyed the arcade games (but be warned: the high scores on Pacman and Galaga will taunt you) and air hockey table. Very nice place, super close for a walk to downtown businesses but also an easy drive up the mountain for skiing. Brian was always quick with answers to my questions, but there weren't many because all instructions/house rules were clear and concise.

This is now one of my favorite places on the planet. I feel so lucky that we got to spend time here. I can't wait to come back! The view is beyond amazing! The house is impeccable. Amenities are abundant. Everything you need is there. The kitchen had every dish, pan, and utensil you could need, along with staples so you don't have to get basics from the store like salt and cooking oil. Everything feels thoughtful and comforting. ❤️ We loved kayaking and watching salmon jump out of the water and seals pop their heads up to say hi! It's very close to hundreds of great hikes and parks, but only if you can tear yourself away from the soft beds and idyllic beauty. It is truly a gorgeous place, a spot of peace in an often-chaotic world.

Absolutely loved our stay! The views are incredible, even with the snow and fog. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and waking up to the water view. The house had everything we needed and more! I would absolutely stay again and would recommend it!

Such a charming home! We loved it! Traveled with three small kids who loved kayaking, fishing, throwing rocks in the water, running down the big hill to the water, the books in the kids reading nook and exploring the local parks/beaches. It’s very quiet, no road noise. Amazing view of mt. Rainer on a clear day and expansive views from almost all rooms. It’s an old house from the 1930s with a lot of the original old house charm but modern amenities have been updated to make it comfortable. Cathy was very kind and responsive. Thank you!

Our family had a great stay. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, the decorations, and the location. We also appreciated the extras that were available: toiletries, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. We're looking forward to a summer stay next! Thanks again!

Sherri's home, especially the interior, is beautiful. Her communication with us from well before we were to arrive, throughout our departure was great. She has provided written details in a book in the home that covers instructions, the area, recommendations, etc. She is very thorough and articulate. I would recommend that you read the rules, prior to booking to ensure you can meet expectations especially if you plan on having visitors or overnight guests. Your rental fees could be affected. We have stayed at many Airbnb's over the years and Sherri's home is one of the nicest. The area is very peaceful and relaxing. A golfcourse and cafe is nearby. The town of Shelton is relatively close, about 6 miles, and has many restaurants, a variety of stores. Very easy drive. There are many lakes within a short driving distance. I recommend Sherri's home to anyone looking for a wonderful house in a relatively secluded, tranquil area but read the rules first. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
